i am curious if anyone here has ever played Code Lyoko: Quest for Infinity (or Fall of XANA) or SCP: Containment Breach?
i really love free indie games and i have no money so those are mostly what i play uwu

L4D2?

In a preview for a horror game in an old issue of ONM, the beginning was about handheld horror games, and the end of the paragraph said: "Just look at the number of sucsessful handheld horror titles. Games such as... Um, does Spirit Tracks count? It does star a ghost, after all." X3

999 was a pretty successful horror game, and it was for DS. One of very few M-rated DS games out there, too. Although it's a visual novel so it's more the descriptions that are graphic, not the visuals. It's a really cool game, but obviously pretty frightening at times. And a bit confusing.
But, with that said, I don't think the limited capabilities and small screens of handhelds make them the best port for horror games, unless they're done VN style.

I have played SCP: Containment Breach. And I love it so much. Nothing like a good scary game to keep you on your toes. I think SCP is WAY scarier than the 'Slender' game.

Have you played SCP-087? That's pretty creepy too.

Excuse me,
anyone else who plays L4D2 here, can you tell me a way to '"properly" kill a jockey?(As in without it touching you. I already know how to properly kill a hunter, though) Is it just a trial and error thing?

The key is the music in L4D. You'll know most of the time when something is coming when you hear certain piano chords. But really, you gotta butcher or shoot it before it gets to you or one of your partners. There's no real good way of going about it. It's been a while since I played L4D too, though. I just know when the music plays, something to be scared of is close by. They're a lot easier to spot too amongst zombie hoards. You also see them running low to the ground, but normally you need to be aware of its presence, aka the music. c:

I always found smokers and hunters hard to kill off since hunters blend in nicely with the hoard while smokers normally attack with range so you aren't too sure where they're at until they latch their tongue onto you and drag you in. ;w;

The best one is the witch. You know where they're at and you know what ticks them off so it's always a good laugh with a group of friends. Just surround her, flash your light at her along with your friends and wait to see who will get mauled to death by the witch. :'D
