I think we all need to ask what people really like before making the mascot. Of course not all opinions will be included but the mascots don't really seem as diverse as is needed for this specific group. And I know it's hard to represent a group of people equally but I think rainbows aren't doing the trick. Taking the basis for all equality doesn't really represent it, our mascot needs to represent equality as much as it does love, and using people's opinions will get the ball rolling.

Unless you all like generic things, excuse my opinion.

I think you're very right. More specifically, most of the mascots are rainbow. I am proudly bi, and refuse to use rainbow anything, simply because that would be misrepresenting myself.

On the other hand, I'm bi, and I represent myself with rainbows.
I just don't like the bi flag/colours very much.

I'm super into rainbows.
It must be a scene kid thing.

Ha, I made a double entendre about rainbows.

I still think their point is valid about the mascots. Not everyone represents themselves with rainbows. It would be nice to see some variety, but at the same time, the mascot isn't seem often, so I'm not sure it's of that big importance.

In my opinion, there should be a mascot for each sexuality, since it is so hard to capture the entirety of the group in a single mascot.
