Unless you all like generic things, excuse my opinion.I think you're very right. More specifically, most of the mascots are rainbow. I am proudly bi, and refuse to use rainbow anything, simply because that would be misrepresenting myself.
On the other hand, I'm bi, and I represent myself with rainbows.
I just don't like the bi flag/colours very much.
