I refuse to watch Clannad...I watched AIR and cried my freaking eyes out. ;_; But it was such a good show...I think I liked the movie better, though.

AIR was originally a visual novel and it's about a traveler named Yukito searching for a "girl with wings". He comes to a town and meets various girls, and one of them is the girl he is searching for. Soon, they start reliving the story that happened a thousand years ago. It's adapted into a movie and a 13-episode series. It's sad, but it's amazing, and definitely worth watching. And I've not watched the DNAngel anime, but the manga is still going, I'm pretty sure. c: It's awesome~

Hmmm...it's been about three years since I watched it...I think it was on YouTube. But it's probably been deleted since then. I know Funimation has the license in English; you might be able to watch it on their YouTube channel. If you want to watch it in Japanese, or it isn't on YT, then google something like "air anime online" and you'll get lots of places to watch it. ^^

I just started Black Cat because my friend recommended it to me so I got the first volume and it's awesome~

Also I need recommendations on what my next manga/anime will be. I'm kind of in the middle of like twelve animes/mangas and I am looking for sort of violent, horror animes.
Like Higurashi~ I loved those and now I need some more violent horror.

I don't really read Horror, but maybe Blood+ (manga, anime and a movie - I haven't finished it yet, but I love it so far), and maybe Rinjin 13 Gou (manga - the art is not the best, but I found the story interesting) or Superior Day (manga - not really horry, but violent and a really good story with unexpected turns)

Mirai Nikki is a good horror/violent anime/manga. The anime ACTUALLY follows the manga too! I'd say watch the anime because the art in the anime is better. But regardless, just be wary of lots of gore, panty shots and mild nudity. Nothing eye-burning but can be offensive.
Still, it's amazing. I love it so much. Akise Aru is the best ehehehehe
