Religion Satanist (to be specific, both LaVeyan and Theistic - though I am still looking for a god/dess I can truly connect with and trust)
Why do you want to join?: Coexistence. To learn about other religions.
Will you try to stay active in the discussions here? Is there anything about your activity we should know?: I'm more of a lurker, but if there's something interesting, I'll jump in.
Any recommendations to make this thread more accurate, reliable, etc? Nope.
Extra Comments; Thank you. c:
For me, I see religion more as a guidance through life. Things to consider and take to heart. As a Satanist, I'm usually labeled a "Christ hater", or some stickler who must hate other religions to put it CS appropriate. It couldn't be farther from the truth.
Jesus was a great teacher and a wise man. Though I'm no Christian or any denomination, I take a lot of the Bible to heart. Tolerating and accepting others, turning the other cheek, not being judgmental, and only "casting the first stone" if I am free of sin... and of course the Golden Rule which I've strived to live by my entire life.
Of course, I believe in the spiritual aspect of religion, but I am more drawn to the messages and teaching than the gods and goddesses, save for the Greeks. I'm addicted to Greek gods/desses.
