Do you know anything about Dachshunds?: ( besides they look like a hotdog) XD They do look like hot dogs. Ok anyway, I know they can look like Australian shepards/cattle dogs. There can be short haired, longed haired and wired hair. I must say I went on the Internet to make sure they are true. (I didn't want to tell lies).

How many Dachshund have you owned? :( none is fine ) None at the moment, but we are going to get one tomorrow! Exciting! <3 She's goining to be the mini one. :3 My grandma used to have one, but he died because of cancer. My great grandmother used to have one, but she died about 1 month ago or so. :(
Why would you like to join this club?: Because dachshunds are so cute! Like dog sausages.
Do you LOVE!!! Dachshunds?: YESS! THEY ARE CUTE SMALL SAUSAGES! ^-^

Hey everyone sorry I haven't been able to post on here, I've been quite busy. The three last forms are accepted.
Yes, chewits, you can post pictures when ever you want.

So how has everyone's dachshund been? Have any stories to tell?

Yeah.I was at a lake, and there was this duck in the water close to shore. (my dog hates water, but adores ducks. I think he's thinking "OOH DINNER!" every time he sees or smells one) So my genius dog walks up to the water, tests it with his paw, and them jumps in, and just starts swimming like a pro! He's never been in the water before, and I think he surprised himself by starting to swim. Anyway,the duck is like, "why is there a wet sausage swimming at me, and didnt even try to fly away, but my relative who was there freaked out at seeing my dog in the water and ran up to him screaming, so he reluctantly got out of the water and shook himself off and just ran around again until we caught him and wrapped him in a towel. It was pretty funny but scary at the same time though.

Lol, that's funny as heck. Most dogs are natural swimers because they are bread to hunt and sometimes that will be ducks and therefore they have to swim.

Sorry, I've been off for a while. Our dachsund is currently 6 months old.

Her name is Musi.
And alot of strange things have happened to her.
We were swimming with my sister in a pond(in our country). We were having a lot of fun, when suddenly there was a huge splash. Musi had fallen into the water. Me and my sister were so scared but everything was fine.
I also wanted to ask, is it true that water is dangerous to dog's ears? I heard that somewhere but I don't know if it's true. Musi got some water in her ears, but everything was fine.

Awwww, she is so cute. I don't know if water hurts a dog's ears, but probably not because most dogs swim and it seems unlikely.

You're welcome. I have to say my dachshund hate water. When I give her a bath she tries to jump on me and I get soaked. Ha.
