Welcome to the Cirque de la Lune

A professional circus, known to have the best of the best entertainers from all over the globe. People flock to watch the Cirque's shows, they watch with awe as the performers fly and swoop, sing and dance. They glitter and sparkle, bringing fantastic colours and costumes to the stage, bringing it to life. They enthrall the audience, catch their hearts, stop the neverending beating. The circus hires only the best performers who can work under extreme conditions, and they expect nothing less. People pay to see the best, and the best is what they get.
They took on the name of the moon as it holds a certain mystery about it. Man has only ventured out to the moon four times, discovering something new each time. The circus always changes, fluctuates with the seasons and crowds. The two things match perfectly, in harmony of each other.

Would two people be interested in this? Its a recreation of my old roleplay which died due to inactivity. I'm hoping that a smaller group of people roleplaying will equal dedication.
So if you are interested, please only say so if you are dedicated, and have the time to post when you are needed.

Its semi-lit - lit level. I vary between the two, so I thought that the rest of the roleplay should be around that level.

One night you went to sleep, everything was normal. Not a star shone in the night sky, for there had never been any. Then a strange thing happened, you woke up, went outside and saw stars in the sky. At first you didn't tell anyone about this, but soon enough your friends and family knew about these stars. Then one day, you mother and father called you into the living room to talk. There was a strange man there, you didn't know him and something seemed different about him.

Your mother starts the conversation after you have sat down. "This is Doctor Black, he is here to talk to us about your seeing stars." She said, her voice was soft. Almost shy, this wasn't something that she did often, she seemed almost... afraid.

Doctor Black smiled, and held out his hand for you to shake, so you did so. It was only polite, to shake his hand, but you didn't speak. "You have something we call Starsight," He started, his voice showing no emotion and giving away nothing about his personality. "You can see things in the stars that others can't, because others can't see the stars. We were wondering if you might like to have your family move to Tarrisburg. Your parents have said they wouldn't mind if you would like to go there. They have a school there especially for those of us with Starsight. But it is your decision."

You think about it, and are curious about the matter. Eventually you end up going there, and starting at their school for those with Starsight. You find that there are 23 other students there, and they are just like you. Only you all see different things in the stars, different bits of the past or future.

You may remember the Written in the stars roleplay from a little post I did a while back, when I was just thinking about doing it. But this is the finished plot, and there are still eleven spots left for people to join in if you are interested. Below is the link.

Welcome to Clayton Ridge Equestrian Academy! You have been invited to stay the summer to work and ride at this prestigious barn. You will stay in a small farmhouse, and you are allowed to bring two horses. But, there are also lesson horses that you may use if you don't have a horse of your own. The owner, Jodi Briggs has asked you to work around the farm for exchange of riding lessons and horse care lessons. There will be shows throughout the summer, and you'll have the opportunity to make many friends and learn valuable information!

Having heard the screams from across the street, Elwynn poked her head through an open window and glanced around. "Wonderful," she muttered, spotting Natalie's blurred figure laying on the porch of the house diagonal from hers. "Just what I always wanted: neighbors with mental issues." Cooking oil began to spurt from her fingertips, as it always did when she was irritated. Just the same, she decided to see what was wrong. Wiping her fingers on her lime-green peasant blouse, she headed out the door.

Upon her arrival at the neighbors' house, she crouched down beside Natalie, poking her uncertainly with a greasy index finger. "Er... are you okay?"

Same here. ._. All the good roleplays are so far off and the only ones with less than 5 pages are usually about romance or high school.

The thread was not actually locked, per say. It was just nearing 1000 pages so they locked the original and made a new one. It's just like what they do with the "Things That Annoy You," thread. :P
