Still working on those zodiac pony signatures, but for the time-being, I finally designed a pony-oc.

And I'm just copy-pasting what I typed on the description I had on deviant art:

Decided to jump on the MLP:FiM OC bandwagon and design this girl. Her name is Merlot Blanc [pronounced Mare-LOW Blanque] ("White Merlot" - because the actual grapes that are used to make Merlot are purple), and her special talent is tasting and rating wines.

Here's a bit of history on her, it's probably full of typos and grammatical errors, but I just want to get it typed for now - I'll probably edit it later:

Most ponies get their cutie marks young, but as she wasn't old enough to taste wine for quite a few years, she was quite a bit older than the norm when hers finally appeared. Her family expected as much as they passed down the refined art of wine tasting to their offspring (Merlot Blanc has an elder brother who specializes in making wines, and a younger sister who ended up with a talent of cleaning. Unfortunately, her parents are very old-fashioned about keeping wine in the family, so they don't speak with her younger sister very often. Merlot still has a good relationship with her, though).

Merlot grew up in Mare-is (the pony equivalent of Paris), but moved to Ponyville once she could escape her parents (to their distaste), and currently has a peaceful life there living in a small vineyard of her own. She can make decent wine, but it never has the right taste to her - other ponies still seem to appreciate it.

Her artificial leg was a result of frail bones running in her family and a stupid slip on Merlot's behalf. The unicorn to designed it was excellent with his trade, however, and she often forgets it's not a real leg.

Her basic information leaves a lot to be desired, and it's still in its tweaking stages.

I thought she was cute when she was just lines. Now that she has a color scheme she looks even more adorable <3 I like how her leg and cutie mark really stick out.

oh I wish I hadn't thrown out my old mlp toys! I had like ten... An now they are gone!
Only if I had known I would become obsessed with them 5 years later.

This! D: I had so many old MLP figurines, and I was so unaware that I would love them in the future.

5 years later? It's more like... 15 years later for me. Man I'm one old cookie. I still remember the incredibly baffling Seapony toys.

I do have toys again though, they all chill on my desk. I got brushable Rainbow Dash, Plumsweet, Honeybuzz, and Feathermay; blind bag Rainbow Dash, Roseluck, and Pepperdance (just got Roseluck and Pepperdance like two days ago.) I need to check back at my Walmart for sparkly Rainbow Dash and Minty.
