I'm either going to be the Eleventh Doctor or somebody from Firefly (if anybody has seen that show.) The only problem is no one will know who I am except my friend. I converted her into a Whovian in under a month. Oh well. If they don't know what Doctor Who is then I feel sorry for them.

I just watched a mini episode called Good As Gold.

Weeping Angel at the Olympics. The Doctor blasted its arm off with the screwdriver.

WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU DO THAT IN THE ANGELS TAKE MANHATTAN? YOU COULD'VE SAVED RIVER FROM BREAKING HER WRIST. WHAT THE HELL MAN.

The Doctor did say he had to break River's wrist, because Amy had read it from the book. She had read it, and therefore had 'set it in stone'. It was an event that had to happen.

When I was at marching band, I got bored and started staring up at the sky to watch the rain fall. Someone came up to me and said "You look like you're watching for aliens." Already in the whovian spirit from chatting with Raggedy Man for the past hour, I replied "Well, I am!"
"That's weird. Are you one of those people who wears tinfoil hats?"
"Not at all! I wear a fez."
"Why do you wear a fez?"
"Because fezzes are cool!"
"Not really."
"Nonsense! Fezzes are the coolest hats in the universe! And Stetsons."
*Proceed to go into Trekkie stuff*

The costume party I went to, my friend dressed up as a red shirt. Also, she's ginger. I was the eleventh. It was pretty cool, I had suspenders, slacks, converse, a sonic, and a bowtie. Later on, Indiana Jones lent me his Stetson, but that's another story. So we were running around, alternating between making Trekkie jokes and me shouting at her, "Come along, Pond! Don't wander off!" Also, I can't count how many times I said Geronimo.

Amazing fursona! I'm in the middle of making a new one, also. Yes, it wears a bowtie. That's just about the only thing I've decided on.
Oh mah goshness, don't you love Tennant faces? So expressive...
I'm planning a Timey Wimey party with all my Whovian friends. The only non-Doctor-Who-related thing we'll be doing is watching The Prisoner of Azkaban. "Doctor, why use Polyjuice Potion? We've been missing your face the whole time!"

So, I was just watching season seven of Supernatural. There was a character in it, a kitsune, that Sam was supposed to kill. He'd known her from a while back and let her go, long story there. But he tracks her, and confronts her about her new alias. "Amy Pond, huh? Cute name." I swear I was having a seizure because they stole that from Doctor Who. So, Sam lets her go again and tells Dean the whole story. Dean agrees not to go after her, and she's allowed to run from the town. So I'm like, At least this Amy Pond ended up safe.But nooooo. Dean goes back and kills her! I'm like, Both Amy Ponds died!

It's Goblet of Fire, isn't it? Also, when I'm watching DW with DT, there's this little part in the back of my mind that can't help constantly reminding me, "This is the guy who tries to kill Harry Potter..." then I'm like, "Sod it, no it's not! That was Barty Crouch, Jr.! This is the Doctor!"

That was an episode made by kids.
They had a competition in schools to see who could make the best script, so, they did it with an Olympics theme. Not a real episode in the slightest. I thought it was pretty stupid if you ask me.
Either way, if it was real and the Doctor did that to the angel, he still would of broken something, no?

He could have soniced (That word looks weird...) the angel's fingers, but that high a setting on a sonic would break River's wrist anyways. If he did it up the arm, River still wouldn't be very free with a huge hunk of stone still clamped onto her wrist and the Doctor would still have needed to break her wrist to free her from its grasp.

Amy said the Doctor would break something, so if he broke a single thing Amy would be sent back in time.
It wouldn't make a difference.

Not one thing, though. It was obvious that it was going to have to be River's.

River: "Well, why do you have to break MINE?!"
Doctor: "Because Amy read it in a book and now I have to do it/"

I haven't had the courage to face that episode again so I might be wrong, but, I thought in the book it said the Doctor has to break something. Well, I dunno. I'm confused now.

Either way, the minisode was made by kids who probably don't even know how angels work, the director and Moffat probably had to change half the things so that it made sense to the Whovians.
Because... The Sonic can't disintegrate Angels.
