I need a bit of advice. I was able to find most of the Tom Baker (4th Doctor) episodes, and I want to know which ones are your favorites. Tom Baker was the Doctor for seven seasons, and that's a lot to watch, so I want to narrow it down.

HORNS OF NIMON HORNS OF NIMON.

But if you want more serious and seriously good stories, Robot, Genesis of the Daleks, Pyramids of Mars, Face of Evil, Invasion of Time and stuff from the Key to Time arc are cool. I'm also two episodes into Shada and really enjoying it (Douglas Adams, why did you have to die, you were so wonderful).

TMR wrote:Sorry to bring this up about who is your least favourite compainion and why?

Victoria :C She's frustrating and a wet blanket and she's never grateful for how nice Jamie and the Doctor go out of their way to be to her. I felt bad for her in her early stories and I appreciate that she's a product of the time and also her own time, but god she's just such a pain. I hate how she just constantly whinges through her last story too.

She gets some of the nicest lines out of the Doctor though, especially his thing about his family from Tomb of the Cybermen.

I also dislike Lady Christina dewhatserface, because she had far too many special skills and was cocky without having anxieties under all that cockiness. She's all the things that people complain about when they complain about Donna, but without the endearing humanity and layers.

and Barty Crouch Sr. was the guy who invented the Cybermen in Age of Steel... Lumic?

Dumbledore was in A Christmas Carol (Sardick)

and Hooch is the person who does the voice for Cassandra.

Wow. I noticed that Sardick and Dunmbledore were played by the same guy, and Crouch, but definitely not Cassandra! Oh, that hilarious moment she takes over the Doctor's body!!

I was sitting there wrapped in a blanket clawing the bottom of my laptop in anxiety! It was really scary. And she's all like, 'Smiley, smiley! I'm a happy person!" And then she get's taken over by some THING!!! D: Why do all the Doctor's friends either die, get their memory wiped, or have to leave?!....There's only one answer....MOFFAT!!! DAVIES!!!

*Aiedail* wrote:Well, I haven't seen them all, but...Martha. Yuck, she's such a Mary Sue! e.e

Nope. None of the modern companions (and none of the classic ones that I have any experience with) are Sues. They're far too complex for that. Here, I wrote a thing once.

Specific to Martha, who I generally feel feelings of apathy towards (but not enough negativity for her to be ranked with Victoria and Lady Christina de whatserface):
Martha is intelligent and witty and sarcastic, and rather a lot of a secret nerd. Her unrequited-love arc with the Doctor is forever a pain in my arse, because I think she had the potential to be a lot more than she was. She has a tendency to mope and I think she's a bit of a fantasist when it comes to reading too much into the Doctor's actions. But she's a quick thinker and she's resilient and a fighter. She's self-sacrificial, especially when it comes to her family...she cares a lot about them and lets them walk all over her for the sake of harmony, and when it comes down to it her family ties are the most important thing to her.
