I think they know, as they said they put a picture of it in their siggy. I think they just mean they liked the two pets they got from the banner pup the most, out of everything about the banner pup. :3

When's the pup's (or should I call it banner pup.. or Mr. pup/banner XD?) b-day? Is it on HAlloween O_e. Or is it a week long (for as long as Halloween event goes on?) cause I remembered my birthday was on the 13th and then i'm like "oh! Does Banner pup have one? I should give it a gift!)
