As has been pointed out in one of the random episodes I grabbed, 12 regenerations is just a guideline... the regenerations are stored away, but the Master managed to win another full set of regenerations from the Council and the Doctor can relatively easily circumvent the problem through huon energy manipulation... *technobabbles*

The writers of Doctor Who have plenty of things to fall back on to extend the Doctor's regenerations. They aren't going to end this show anytime soon.

I hear that Amy and Rory are leaving the Doctor at the end of this season... it would be awesome if they brought Jenny back as a companion. Didn't the Doctor travel with his niece for a while in Old!Who? They could do something similar with the future seasons...

...That is another awesome find. I loved seeing how the effects slowly changed to the color scheme and layout of the theme we currently have, and hearing the music develop was really cool as well. ^^
By the time it reached Eccleston's theme, my pulse had sped up and I wanted to dance.
...when it reached Tennant's theme, it went into my bookmarks.

Knowing Moffat, he's probably got that prepared somewhere. His plot twists are very confusing, yet amazing.
I bet he could pull it off.
