I do think Amy is a little cruel to him sometimes, but I love the two.

I don't know that Amy is so cruel to Rory, at least not deliberately. She's really emotionally incompetent (in Vampires of Venice she couldn't quite deal with the fact that Rory was upset about her flying off with the Doctor in the first place) and she just expects him to know that she loves him (of course you're Stupid Face, who else did you think it was? Duh). She really deeply does, she's just a little crap at expressing it and a little oblivious to the fact that her self centred-ness hurts him sometimes.

I kind of love how rubbish she is at emotions. It's endearing <3

i know i said about not watching tehe episodes in order but got a glimpse of the monsters in the lost astronaut episode and for some reason they reminded me of the slenderman

For me it's that she could be so much more, but ends up just being besotted with the Doctor. I like companions in platonic relationships with the Doctor unless it's really really well done (who are you River D:), so I didn't appreciate the romance-y thing going on with Rose and the Doctor (I actually didn't notice it until she left and people were talking about how obvious the twu wuv was...but that's me) and I definitely didn't enjoy it when Martha started being all "woe is me" because he wasn't in love with her. Martha was brilliant and deserved better as a character, but she didn't get written to her full potential so I'm irritated at her as a lost opportunity *shrugs*

But I appreciate that other people are able to look past the lovesickness that she had and enjoy her for her good qualities. I can't do it and it makes me sad.

I completely ignore the fact that Martha was chasing after the Doctor. I didn't even really notice because I was too happy that she had a brain that functioned properly. Amy keeps jumping up and down on the Wicked Approval Scale. After the "scene", she was WAY down on the scale to the point where I wanted to slap her and ditch her in the middle of the Antarctic or something. But, after Amy's Choice, I loved her. Then she went kinda "meh" and that is where she still is. However, Rory was an instant win. I loved him soon after the show introduced him, but he was a mega win after Vampires of Venice when he totally failed in protecting her. Which is why Amy will be hated if she does anything to hurt him.

Gah, just saw a huge spoiler for tonight's episode.
And all the TV guides etc. are rating it 5 star The TV Times has it as the Pick of the Day. Wise decision.

I loved the new episode! Poor Amy, though.... It seems Rory likes another woman. Though at least he didn't die in this episode. I don't really like the Doctor's ganger.

This is because...
He remembers the previous Universe where he died and came back to life as an Auton. He knows exactly how these people feel, it was pretty much the same situation. He cares for them especially the girl who seems a little more vulnerable. Rory doesn't fancy her as when she say's "Amy's a lucky girl" and he said "yeah I know" he means that she's lucky that although Jennifer is a lovely woman he's completely faithful to his wife even if Amy's a little more flirtatious than he'd like. :3
