iDate Sam and Freddie premiere.

Okayy. Time to sing everyone's favorite song.
"Tonight, tonight. There's a party with the Seddies on the Sidekicks board"
*cough* *cough* ahem <shot>

Also, there are now five sneak peeks available, but yesterday they were taken down by a copyright claim. /shrug At least I know what goes on for about six out of 25 minutes. x3
Sorry for anyone who didn't get around to watch them. There may be a few of them still on Tumblr, but I doubt it.
Anyways, don't continue reading if you don't want spoilers.

Sam and Freddie may break up at the end of this episode.
I didn't notice it myself because I only watched it once, but another fellow Seddier on the crap forum said she heard the ending music at the end of a sneak peak. Carly had told them "If you two can't get along, than you SHOULD break up." and stopped away, leaving Sam and Freddie alone. Cue end of video and music.
T>T Dan, where are you going with this? If you end this episode with on such a horrible note, I will go up to you personally and stab you with a fork gaklglaljbgas I can't type properly

Despite the result being sore arms and a headache, I edited the theme colors of our club. What do ya' think? Blues and purples are some of my favorite colors.

I hated iDS&F.
The flow of the episode was odd, and there were very few moments I found funny. I didn't crack a smile once.
The Sam&Freddie moments were awkward. It felt OOC, even if they were in the honeymoon phase. Sam opening calling Freddie baby and completely putting her guard down around him? I just don't like that. At all.
I always imagined it would take longer for her to open up to him. Unless this episode was set a year after iLMM, I just can't see her being this vulnerable around him. Why would she put herself in the open, so soon? She knows Freddie won't purposely hurt her, of course, but she's weak at heart. She's always had walls stacked around her. I thought it would take a long time for Freddie to tear them down.
What was up with Spencer and Gibby's reaction to Carly snapping at them? Spencer pouted like a five year old. I could see him pouting, crossing his arms and being dramitic, but that scene was ridicilous. Gibby crying over it was worse. And then Carly hugs them and baby talks them like their dogs. She was a whole different person in this episode.
The ending scene was stupid. I felt very, very bad when Sam was on the verge of tears and had to blink them back when Carly was imitating her. Broke my heart.
But. The ending was- like I said, stupid. Why on earth would you end an episode like that? Sam and Freddie were totally cool with Carly's outburst of "Then you should break up" and were just ":| nothingweirdjusthappenedlol"
Ugh. At least make them have a reaction. Start screaming at each other or have Sam actually break down and shed a few tears. Make one of them get up and leave. Make them avoid eye contact. Make them have eye contact. Just do something. But no, we got nothing.

I wouldn't have minded missing this episode. One of my least favorites of the entire series. Reminded me of a terrible fanfic written by a ten year old. I'm shaking so bad right now it's not even funny.

I rewatched most of it and I guess I liked it a bit more. :\

Anyways, I'm so very sick today and reading a troll icarly fanfic made me laugh so hard I almost puked.
"Spenshers hair flowed bisexually in the air."

Nobody take it to heart (I support samesex relationships) it's just a sad, sad troll. I would post the fic but sadly, it's not appropriate. xDDDD

I think I've realized why I disliked this episode {iDate Sam & Freddie} so much.
All of the interaction between Sam and Freddie in this episode was for laughs.
In the past {four years}, many of us have been reading between the lines and digging for subtle moments between these two. The moments they shared were since, and genuine. They were realistic and believable.

Now, because iCarly is a comedy show and because it's Dan's style, the relationship so far has been exaggerated greatly for the humor. As a result, it's become cheesy and unrealistic.

The fighting has now become less bickering and more full-on “I hate you” {again, exaggeration}. They’re back to acting the way they were in Season 1. But what happened to all of the character development? The friendship? Silent but mutual understanding?

It’s gone. All gone.

I understand that Dan has to keep the comedy flowing, because that’s what iCarly is about. But this, this I don’t like. I wouldn’t mind if Sam and Freddie had a silly moment, say- once or twice per episode. Instead of packing the box {episode} to the top with humor as full as it will go, take some of it out. Put it in another box {again, metaphor for “episode”}. Keeps everything neat, and it all fits better now. Sure, now it’s more to deal with, but really it’s the better choice.

<cough> <cough> <ahem>

Does anyone see what I’m saying? The humor is over the top, and not in a good way. It’s overdone and became- yes, I’m going to say it {Oh yes, I said it, I said it I said it 'cause I can}- annoying after the first five minutes. And I didn’t even get to see the opening scene because I couldn’t find my damn TV remote. <momentarily rages silently>

I’m not going to say much on the “lovey-dovey” aspect, because they are in the honey-moon stage, after all. They’re Sam and Freddie and they just started dating. Obviously, this is new to them and they both literately have no idea where to start. {Besides the fact that they’re hormonal teens with years of pent up… tension, but I won’t go into that}

At this point I’ve lost myself, which isn’t a good sign. At all. I’m in the mood for Fanfic-in’ and I think I’m gonna go do so now.

Anyone get my song reference? ;)
