I hated iDS&F.
The flow of the episode was odd, and there were very few moments I found funny. I didn't crack a smile once.
The Sam&Freddie moments were awkward. It felt OOC, even if they were in the honeymoon phase. Sam opening calling Freddie baby and completely putting her guard down around him? I just don't like that. At all.
I always imagined it would take longer for her to open up to him. Unless this episode was set a year after iLMM, I just can't see her being this vulnerable around him. Why would she put herself in the open, so soon? She knows Freddie won't purposely hurt her, of course, but she's weak at heart. She's always had walls stacked around her. I thought it would take a long time for Freddie to tear them down.
What was up with Spencer and Gibby's reaction to Carly snapping at them? Spencer pouted like a five year old. I could see him pouting, crossing his arms and being dramitic, but that scene was ridicilous. Gibby crying over it was worse. And then Carly hugs them and baby talks them like their dogs. She was a whole different person in this episode.
The ending scene was stupid. I felt very, very bad when Sam was on the verge of tears and had to blink them back when Carly was imitating her. Broke my heart.
But. The ending was- like I said, stupid. Why on earth would you end an episode like that? Sam and Freddie were totally cool with Carly's outburst of "Then you should break up" and were just ":| nothingweirdjusthappenedlol"
Ugh. At least make them have a reaction. Start screaming at each other or have Sam actually break down and shed a few tears. Make one of them get up and leave. Make them avoid eye contact. Make them have eye contact. Just do something. But no, we got nothing.
I wouldn't have minded missing this episode. One of my least favorites of the entire series. Reminded me of a terrible fanfic written by a ten year old. I'm shaking so bad right now it's not even funny.
