Many, especially those who cosplay, actually look semi-normal or even pretty in normal settings. They also enjoy writing fanfiction or drawing fanart. Anime and video fangirls have a habit of glomping.

A female, usily between the ages of 12 and 19 that is obbessed with a perticular fictional character and in turn, the actor that portrays that character. Avoid fangirls in large groups, as they do tend to swarm, and if you are unlucky enough to catch them near the object of their admiaration, cover your ears. They have a batlike shriek that can be heard from several city blocks away. All young actors beware!
