Lock ; Ohmai, I love bears! <3 My only real suggestion would be to bring the head much more down -- bears have thick shoulder muscles that make it very unpleasant to lift their heads as high as, say, a dog's would be. (For a better visual, imagine humans walking on all fours and lifting their heads like a canine's.) The legs also seem a bit too long. Also, remember that a bear's legs are not just canine legs that are a lot thicker. Their bone structure is much different, and they don't walk on their toes like a canine or feline. I hope this helps. o uo-b

Well, I'm no bear expert, but there's a few things I can point out... the eyes are too close to the ears, I suggest you make them smaller and move them down a bit ^^ The front paws also tend to face towards each other. Also the hind legs are doggish, bears hind legs are more like this;

Lock- Sadly, I don't know too much about burs.

But it looks wonderful by what I know. :D
All I can see is maybe the legs are a little too long? face looks really good to me,

Commoner- I can try to whip out a redline in a sec. c:

I'm, obviously, not an expert on bears, either, but this was my take on it. Like everyone said, they walk on their whole paw, not just their toes. The knee joint, when they're taking a step forward, is completely hidden, but if a leg is stretched back you can clearly see it. I'm seeing problems with my own redline, ack, but that's basically the gist of it.

I have a couple of suggestions (unfortunately my tablet is AWOL at the moment so I can't red line) But here are my suggestions anyhow. The head should be slightly larger, it looks out of proportion. As some others have suggested the legs should be slightly shorter as well. Other than that I think it looks real great. Also, yes, the paws need to be slightly larger. Hope that helps ^^;

I'd like a little help on these here:
I'd appreciate red-lines on either but critiques are just as sought after.
This is the first of two:
It's a breed of dog I've never attempted before and an anthro to boot XD (it's a bull-terrier, like Target's mascot dog for those of you that don't know dog breeds)
I am just not sure how to improve for next time, however I am already aware that the head is to large, but that is the most notable mistake I notice XD

And this is a creature that I sketched. Called a "Boarse" (boar-moose hybrid)
I am not practiced in swine in the least bit (nor moose) so I am not sure how I could improve at all D:

I'm currently in class so I can't redline, but perhaps I can help a bit with the boar moose.
You did pretty well with the head, but adding antlers made it top heavy. To compensate, I'd make the front legs a little longer and add the "hump" you see on moose. Example. It'd make it seem as if the creature was well able to not topple over. Plus, make the hind legs a little lower and stronger. Here's a boar skeleton that might help you with this issue. And here's a reference of a boar for the legs.

I think it's a really interesting concept, though. And I'd love to help you more but class is about to start. :C
Do mind, these are just my two cents on this issue, and getting a second opinion would surely be a good idea.
