Painted,
The actual body and head looks pretty good, but the legs are still a bit wonky. The front legs aren't too bad-- mabye just a little too "bear-like", maybe slim them up?-- but the hind ones look very stiff and don't really bend correctly.
Try making the joints more round and exaggerated.

The anatomy of the wings are also off. They should have more bend to them, and the feathers are pretty random and nonsensical right now.
For realism sake, the wings should also probably be larger. The wings wouldn't be able to lift the wolf as they are now.

It's supposed to be really fluffy, and she is spreading her wings preparing for flight. Should I shade/define the joints or fur?

Hey, I haven't posted here before, but right now I'm in desperate need of help.

I'm trying to create a lineart, but I'm having massive problems with anatomy.
xXx

Any criticism is welcome, and a red line would be wonderful <3

I can't really help anyone looking for crits at the moment, sorry.

Sure, but I was aiming for her to be preparing for flight.

She doesn't look fluffy, she looks thick.
Wolves don't have a lot of fur on their legs.

And if she's spreading her wings, then they should DEFINITELY be longer.

The actual lines of the joints need correction, not the colour.

Could I just redline for you?

@ Susiron - sure, but remember that is my first attempt after you gave me the link to your thread about tutorials. Major improvement, right? I know I still have a long way to go but that is my best digital drawing yet.

Alright, so the main thing that needs fixing is the wings.
You said that the wolf is about to take off, so she's going to be madly flapping at this point. With the pose you currently have, it just looks like her wings are very stiffly thrown back.
Try to make the longer-- to support the wolf's size-- and try to convey more of a flapping motion. Twist the wings to show that there's air under them, and flare out the tips.

Also, if the wolf is taking off, then you need to convey this with the entire body, not just the wings. Make the wolf's pose more fluid, as though they're running. The leg that's most forward may not even be touching the ground at this point.
Also, I think that it makes more sense for the head to be braced downwards, to show that she's bracing for a final jump to spring into the air. The ears could also be turned back.
The tail would also be whipping back.

For the actual legs, they should be slimmer, and show more movement. The hind legs especially need more curves.
Wolves are very fluffy, but their legs tend to be fairly slim.

Very nice work! Definitely showing improvement. C:

Oh, I see. How silly of me XD
thanks for redlining this, it really helped me understand more about the pose c:
I'll try again, and then I'll post it for more critique.

This is what happens when I attempt to draw people. I don't really know how to draw/layer her hair yet and I'm just expermenting on it. It's the furthest I've gotten on my Persona to date. It's just a doodle though, very messy. I know there's aspects of her I left out but honestly I'm horrid at face shapes and the shading and lips are done quickly. I can't shade lips. lol I know direction or flow of the hair but it doesn't help when your trying new styles when your not use to hair. O>.> At least she's doing better than her original self.

Art belongs to my friend; its grainy because I lost the original and scanned a printed out version which I had conventionally tried to color over. Durp.

Eventually I'll finish at least a basic her, and then get on my other characters that have been waiting to be done 10+ years. X3 ^---fails.
