when you speed paint you wanna use a harder brush because you will get nice blocks and stuff . do that for about 45 minutes and the final 15 minutes go in with a soft brush to brush in the gradiants. if you observe shadows some have hard edges and other have soft edges. you want them both in there

i got a pm asking me about my age (cuz of my voice) so i went and listened to my guide thing i made for textures i posted. jesus i sound like a douche.

Ok, thank you. So about an 25-45% hardness, then? (I used a 0% and a smaller brush)

let me show you the settings
the brush is called oil heavy flow dry edges. you want the brush to look like how i set it

^ Click to see full size, I was inspired to try and use a textured brush and this is what I came out with. Took around 20min, I'll definitely be trying this effect out again. It looks really fuzzy at full size, If I spent more time on it I'd neaten it up a bit. Opinions?

How do you move it from one...window to another??

use the move tool and drag it to the tab, it will switch tabs automatically so you can drop the image right it

Tried it, doesn't work...Maybe because I have windows(not the explorer or whatever) and not tabs. And I have no idea how to make tabs. Is it even possible on PSE?
