LUCKY! Wait, it's green? I got a green Kingler in SS that scared the heck out of me! I was looking for Absol, but I got a green Kingler instead...

I haven't found ANY shiny Pokemon in Black 1 or White 2 yet (except the pink Dratini you get when you beat white Treehollow)... In fact, the only wild shiny Pokemon I have ever got is the Kingler, and the red Gyrados...

I've gotten no shinies ever, except Red Gyrados and Pikachu-Coloured Pichu, which don't count because they're always shiny. x3

oh man, archeops is such a good pokemon. i had one in my white nuzlocke that i'm still running through (though he got shot down by some nasty ice attacks) and he was one of the best on my entire team. boosted attack stat helped a whole lot, plus acrobatics can potentially be a life saving move. and speaking of, where do you get fossils in b2/w2? maybe i skipped over them, but i've reached undella town and haven't gotten one yet??

- You get one from Lenora (Nacrene Museum): either Cover Fossil or Plume Fossil
- If you are lucky you can also get one in the Antique Shop (Join Avenue): When you buy the Polished Rock, Rough Rock, Rugged Rock or Jagged Rock
- When you get the National Pokédex (after defeating the Champion) you get one fossil from a worker in Twist Mountain every day as a gift

I've gotten lucky and managed to get a few shinies over the years. The two that really stick out in my mind (aside from always-shiny Gyarados in second gen) are the Mankey and Caterpie I caught near the beginning of my FireRed game. Not being a fan of Fighting-types until my precious Lucario became a thing, I put the Mankey in my PC, but I trained my Caterpie so much...my shiny Butterfree is now a part of my team for the Elite Four. (though, i kinda messed up training my Pokemon 'cause I was trying something new and keeping Pokemon unevolved so that they'd get epic moves sooner, but now they have terrible stats, so I might just have to transfer my Pokemon to Diamond or SS and start over on FR)

In Black 2 news, my party now consists of Dewott, Lucario, and Eevee on my way out of Castellia city. I told myself I wasn't going to catch any more Pokemon until Dewott and Lucario were level 30+, but...I just couldn't resist wasting a good half-hour trying to nab Eevee when I learned that they're actually in the wild in Castellia...!

okay, cool, that's nice to hear because it means that i haven't accidentally skipped over it yet. doesn't that worker at twist mountain give away any fossil from any generation, though? i'm pretty sure that's what i heard.

Oh my God, you guys. Have you seen this? I flipped my table when I saw those news.
Although, I don't understand. They released Black 2 and White 2 and suddenly this! Why so quickly?

Okay first of all, I know people think six generations is really too much, but I'm kinda surprised! As a true Pokemon fan, I liked Unova generation too, I didn't expect a sixth gen at all. It seems really cool in 3D, and I like what can you do and etc. I know some people don't like it and think it have gotten too far, but I don't think that way. That's just my opinion. <3

Secondly, was so happy it was a fire fox starter and I honestly don't care if it's fighting because it will probably look amazing this time. I never had problems with any of the Pokemon, as they are made to be like that. I honestly think no generation is just some trash, I really think this will be as good as the fifth one was.

Thirdly, I am kinda sad it's for freaking 3DS. When I was buying my DS Lite, I had no other choice. There were no other Nintendo DS' to buy! Now I'm kinda sad I won't get to play it. I mean, just look at the "trailer" and try not to say it looks awesome. I ain't gonna lie, I badly want it and now I regret for not having 3DS. I just hope there's a way I can play it without it being 3D....

My friend just showed that video to me. Honestly, it looks BRILLIANT. I have something to save my money for now: a 3DS. If it comes out in early October, it's possible I'll get it for my birthday.

Seriously, I'm pumped. I want to see this. The starters looked fantastic, and the new legendaries. They look simpler, like they have an older generation's touch, not like B/W where they tried too hard on the Pokemon, in my opinion. And it's being released everywhere at once, so no one will have it spoiled (at least not as soon).

I hope that we'll be able to see great quality from this game and a fresh perspective. I'm very excited for this, and I can hardly wait for it to come out.

I just saw that promo vid, and am now instantly in love with that new starter!!!!
Also that deer legendary, definitely a new fav by all means!
I think I might want to put them in my signature I love em so much!

Also, as you said Charcoal Master, it does seam that the game is from a new perspective. In that you can now interact with the world around you more. Unless that is, that you mean perspective as something else than a kid trying to become the master. Like you could actually follow the route of a cordinator in the game as that central and main goal.
