Oh my gosh, not for me. They were the hardest E4 I have ever played.
I had to level my Pokemon for at least 3 days before I could even get past the first person. Sometimes it seems like I'm the only one that had trouble with them... xD

They were a lot harder than Diamond and Pearl's Elite 4 O.e

T'was the opposite for me - I hated the D/P elite 4, had to try multiple times until I finally beat them D:

My Rapidash took care of his Bronzong XD
Then, later it was my Houndoom <3

I didnt train any fire pokemon at that time, and only got my Milotic a bit later,
so I had to try with my almost all-flying team xD
I love flying types, but fighting Steel with them is painful x.x

The only E4 I had a hard time with was the Hoenn.
But that was also the first time I've ever battled them too. Not they've gotten pretty easy; take them out with one Pokemon.

I used a Deerling and Krookodile to sweep the E4 on White.
On Diamond I swept the E4 with Luxray and Dialga.
And on Soul Silver I swept the E4 with mostly Ninetales and; as a back up; Charizard and Umbreon.

The hardest was Kanto, for me. My Victini and Stoutland knocked down Black's E4.
