how do you people catch shineys O_O ???I look everywhere for shineys!!

I tried chaining, but even though I used a repel I ran into a Pokemon that wasn't in shaking grass. *Head Desk*

They're extremely rare.
I've only found one, and it was a shiny rattata in level 2, XD
I traded it to a different game when I restarded, and I can't remember which one, .3.

You just remidned me of when I found a shiny Rattata while playing Pokemon Firered >_>
Heres how it went down:
*Rattata pops up*
Me:"Why is it a different color?Whatever..I'LL KILL IT"
*Kills with Charmander*

no combos for shinies. and yes there is shaky grass in black though or when you use a device that attracts rare pokemon

Chaining with shaking grass (Which represents one of the same Pokemon you are chaining) is only in Pearl, Platinum, and Diamond I believe. o3o In Black and White shaking grass means a rarish Pokemon.

The only games I beat without cheating was Soul Silver and Black.
I beat Pearl by using rare candies, and I beat one neighbor's Leaf Green E4, and the others Ruby E4.
I've been playing Pokemon since Yellow version. T_T

i beat black, soul silver, and pearl without cheats. but everything else was like *hands to brother* beat it now!
