1.Download winrar, because shimeji files are usually in .zip or .rar. Here is the site used-http://download.cnet.com/WinRAR-32-bit/3000-2250_4-10007677.html It's a good site. =)
2.Look for the Shimeji you want, which are usually on dA. [DeviantArt] If you can use them, there should be a download button on it's page. For an example, here is the Crona shimeji page-
http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=§i ... i#/d30ktftLook at the picture-And look to the right, and there should be a download button. Click it, and open it with Winrar [If you downloaded Winrar, a box should come up with the file in it] Click 'Extract To'
3.It will ask where you want to save it, so it's a good idea to make a folder for your shimeji. :3
4.Save it to your folder, close winrar, and open you shimeji folder up.After that, there should be a file that says 'SHIMEJI' in the folder. Double click it, and Crona will pop up.
4.On your toobar, you can left click Crona's icon, and boxes will pop up. I believe the top option means 'Duplicate' The second means 'Follow mouse' and the third means 'Delete all but one' The fourth means 'Retrieve Window' As Shimeji can throw windows around, apparently. The last means 'Close'.
Just a note, they duplicate too, and you can fling them around. They do random things, such as run or climb up the walls of your desktop. c: Hope it helped~Sorry for the big post. Dx
