Yup, I know starbit (its a great bit of information for those who didn't though ^^). ;3 It's a brilliant natural defense strategy.

If I was the predator I would just take a random stab at it. I mean you are guaranteed to hit something right? Other than kicking their hind legs they really do anything to fight back.

But I guess the predators get the illusion that the mass of zebras is one giant monster and scares them. If only they knew. Stupid predators... xD

oO Actually, Zebra's have been known to kick, bite (yes, BITE) and roll on predators who attack them. Especially the stallions. Not to mention, that random stab at it, might be a lot more dangerous than you might think... x3 one well-aimed blow from a kick, and it can down a lion, permanently (I've seen it, nature documentary's are pretty much all I used to watch on TV as a kid xD).

They really aren't as harmless as they may appear.

Sorry, that just made me laugh xD Zoo Tycoon makes those poor zebes breed like rabbits!
Anyhoo, I think predators are scared to attack zebes cause they do look like one huge mass of white. And they know if they attack one, they'll have the whole family coming down on them. Or they might just get trampled as the whole herd runs off xD
