I read them and although the last two books were alright I had pretty much the same opinion... it was basically the exact same plot over and over and over again =P

On an unrelated note... has anyone read the Mistborn series? I got the first book for my Birthday about a month ago and finished it the next day :3 and I finally was able to find books 2 and 3 and so far I'm really impressed with it :3

My mom went to a book fair that we had at the Middle school and picked it up. She read the back and was like, "I'm buying this, doesn't it sound good?" I read the back and was like, "Yeah, sure...no, not really." Later in the year, after my mom went series crazy in buying all of the rest of the books, I read them and loved them so much! <3 It didn't take me long to finish them either.

katomorakwarrior wrote:What exactly is "Hunger Games" all about?

Well, the first book is about a girl named Katniss who has to compete in the Hunger Games which are 'games' where 2 people from 12 different districts are elected to a fight to the death in an arena. The entire 'game' is taped and people from every district have to watch their people die on television because the president thinks it's entertaining. They're extremely violent (obviously) but I can't really say much more without ruining the books for everyone. xD I'm bad at summarizing...

If you like fantasy, I'd suggest you read "Artemis Fowl". I just finished book 5, and I really do love the series. :)

Also....I feel really pathetic right now. X( Do any of you love something that's WAY under your age? Like....let's just say you, a junior or senior highschooler, love to read "Buscuit", even though it's for 5 year olds?
BTW, that's now what I'm feeling pathetic about right now. That was just an example.

Pfft.

When I am sick, I love watching little kids' educational shows.

Or at least, I used to until they changed the lineup to scary computer animated things.

Wow. Okay, that makes me feel better. :) Truth be told, I kinda like doing that too. :) Looney Toons is still one of my favorite shows.

Scary Computer Animated Things? I've not watched little kid shows in awhile (haven't been sick enough) so . . . . . . . . which shows are computer animated? The ones I grew up on were animated the old-fasioned way. With a pad of paper and some paint. X)

Anywho, what I was referring to is my old obsession with the Chipmunks. Which has suddenly decided to renew iteself. X( When I was little I watched the VHS of them so much it broke in less than 3 years. X(
When the 2007 movie came out....I was actually stoked to see it. The only thing that hampered my love of the movie was the absense of the Chipettes.
When the sequel ("Squeakquel") came out in 2009, I nearly screamed. The Chipettes were BACK, and MUCH better looking than in the 1990's!
I just recently got to watch the 2011 movie (the third, and hopefully not last, in the new CGI series), and I really liked it.

I just feel bad that I'm an adult and I actually like *cough cough* LOVE *cough cough* the Chipmunks. Doesn't really help that my dad hates them and my mom isn't crazy 'bout 'em. I feel like I'm the only one with this....slight problem erm.... *cough cough* obsession *cough cough* and everyone's been able to grow outta them but me. X(
My siblings (who are a couple years younger than me) don't really like them, either. They just love the catchy music they've been doing recently.

Anywho, so this post isn't spammy.....
I'm now halfway though "Case for Christ", and am liking it so far.
I have nearly finished "Dragon Kiss". I will probably finish it tonight, shortly after doing the last of my homework. After I finish it, I plan to read the last book in the series, "A Prince Among Frogs". X) Can't wait!

One of my friends read it; she said that it was really, really stupid. Apparently, the main character is an idiot, and he just sort of kills the entire plot.

Ah...Maybe I won't read it then...That's ok anyway, I have a lot of different books to read like One Small Sparrow by Jeff Leeland and Spirit Bound by Christine Feehan

@Booklover

There is some weird junk let me tell you. There's one with dinosaurs that I am sure I would have ended up loving if I saw it when I was younger. (I was a big dino nut, let me tell you.) Um... There's another one I actually like called Word World where the characters and things are actually made of the word they are. That makes little sense.

Click me to see what the heck I am babbling about.

There just seems to be more creepy ones than there used to be. Barney was the only one that was really scary when I was little. And apparently Teletubbies are scary. (They aren't! All lies... LIES!!)

So this is semi-related to reading.

I read a description/review of a book, and it looks awesome! It's called There is No Dog and it's by someone. Can't remember the name. Anyway, from what I understood, it's about a teenager who is the creator of everything. You know, instead of God being shown as an old man with a beard, it's a teenage boy. Like I said, it looks awesome.

Ah! Word World! I think I saw it. Once.
You were scared of Barney? That was one of my favorite shows! Another one was Sesamie (spell check?) Street. I LOVED Elmo. (don't like him quite so much anymore, though.)

Teletubbies. Must agree with you. I didn't think they were SCARY, per say, but I didn't really like 'em. My siblings adored them, though.

Is the dragon one you watched called "Dragon Tales"? I used to watch that one. To adnausium. (spell check?) I can still remember full episodes from the series. O.o
Yes. That's how much I loved it. :)

Woah. X)
I just realized something.
All of those I've done! Used to be that only about 3 or 4 were about me; but now.....maybe I really AM a bibliomaniac. :D

I loved Dragon Tales too. No, the one I am talking about was definitely dinosaurs, and it wasn't the Land before Time either. Also, Zaboomafoo. Best show ever!
