I can very much relate! My friend had been trying to get me to read it for months and then on Thanksgiving I was bored so I thought "eh, what the heck, I'll read The Hunger Games" and it was SOOOO GOOD!! I had it finished before lunch

What exactly is "Hunger Games" all about?

It's about a bunch of people who are forced to go in an arena and kill each other. It's pretty good, but the ending ruined it for me. It was some stupid love triangle at the ending, so I didn't bother with the second or third books.

Same here. The first book was very good, the second was good, and the third...meh. I think the while thing would of been better as two, or maybe one (big), book. I would of prefered to know a bit more about what Gale was doing at the end of the third book, other than that he was doing a big job in District 2 and maybe he liked someone else.

If you like fantasy, I'd suggest you read "Artemis Fowl". I just finished book 5, and I really do love the series.

Also....I feel really pathetic right now. X( Do any of you love something that's WAY under your age? Like....let's just say you, a junior or senior highschooler, love to read "Buscuit", even though it's for 5 year olds?
BTW, that's now what I'm feeling pathetic about right now. That was just an example.

Okay, has anyone read the last two Pendragn books? I started out loving that series, but it just sort of got....old, and now I am wondering if it is worth it to try and track down the 9th and 10th books

Has anyone heard of this book called Nobody's Princess?

I've been thinking of doing a small group (three or four) roleplay based on the Pern books by Anne McCaffery. It would be a five line minimum per character, and I would be looking for people willing to play about six characters, since we would want a good sized Weyr. I would like for the members to have read Dragonflight at the least, and perferably Dragon Quest as well. (The first two books of the series.) Anyways, if anyone is interested please PM me, so I can start setting it up.

((I'm putting this here too because I know you guys read books (because they're good) and might be interested as well.))

I've been told by people here that Nobody's Princess is good, but I haven't actually read it yet. (It is on my list and my list is long...)
