I have some book reviews for you guys. Recently just read, The Scorpio Races and Crossed.

The Scorpio Races

At first I thought this book was going to be a fast paced long race kind of thriller. But I was pleasantly surprised. The duration of this book I was wanting the race, lusting for the chapter that would encompass it. But when it came, it was nothing special. Of course there was sentimental value which contains spoilers, so I shan't share ;) The book was mainly about the two character, Sean and Puck, who throughout every hurrdel they manage to fall in love. Puck or Kate as some call her, as her own things going on. Her brother is leaving for the mainland and she finds herself unable to pay the rent for their house any longer. And so The Scorpio Races draw near and she enters, the prize money will be able to buy her house and maybe even keep her brother home. But then there is Sean, a boy we know nothing about except the fact that his father died in the Races. And he is champion of them, winning them year after year, coming out unscathed. Which is an accomplishment on its own. Because unlike the mainland, who race normal horses, these islanders race bloodthristy water horses.
This is a story of love, hardship and it greatly touched my heart. I think that anyone can pick up this book and read it, and I would highly recommend it!
5/5

Crossed by Ally Condie
I'm sure you've heard of Matched, the first book in the trilogy by Ally Condie. That was an amazing book as well, but this one was special. Near the beginning it was interesting and sucked me in. The chapters alternated between Cassia and Ky. Two lovers who were marked as Abberations by the Society and sent out to die in the Outer Provinces. But along with her new friend, Indie, Cassia will do anything to find Ky again. Soon they are both swept up into a race against time, to escape from The Enemy and from the Society. On there journey they discover the likes of a rebellion that is forming among the "farmers". Abberations from the beginning of the society who live in The Carving.
Near the middle of the book, I became bored, but read on, hoping for more. And I was given more. I was satisfied by this book and recommend it to people who have read Matched. If you have not read Matched, go pick it up at the local library, or Amazon or even Barnes and Noble. I give this story a 4/5 for some snooze content but overall a great book.

I really enjoy doing books reviews, so if anyone has any questions on the books I reviewed or wants me to review another book(highly unlikely but I can dream : D) please PM me :3

Hello,
I would like to apologize formally for abandoning all of you. It was extremely rude of me and I hope it will not happen again. Over winter break, my grandfather was slowly dying of cancer. I wanted to make sure I spent as much time with him as possible. He passed away on January 2nd. I am sorry that I neglected you but you must understand that it was for a good reason.

I’m dealing with extensive medical issues and some medical testing to try to figure out said issues. If I am scarce on here, that's why.
