Awesomness, thats what. In Anne McCaffrey's No One Noticed the Cat, young Prince Jamas is just about to take his place on the throne when his regent, the magician Mangan, dies. Mangan has left behind his cat, Niffy who take a liking to the prince. Eventually Jamas come to trust the cat and even seek out his advice on matters of state, as well as well as whom to marry. Although many find his reliance on Niffy a bit odd, it proves valuable when an ambitious queen threatens his life.

Its a great book! And short, so you can read it over and over again!

I wanna read the Trinity Blood novels. <3 That's originally what it started out as, and then spawned the anime and manga. I'm always worried that when a book is translated into another language, that the writing is downgraded, though. D:

Now a days, if you so much as mention 'vampires', you're bound to get a collective groan. Trinity Blood revolved around just that -- but Abel is a Crusnik, a vampire that feeds on vampires. And the only romance to be seen is hints of him and Esther, a nun. So we all know that can't go very far. But yeah, I think I need to read the novels. They look awesome. <3
