I had someone PM me wanting one of my Tinsel Lions asking me what I would take for it. I told them "No thank you, I am not looking to trade, I hoard lions." They got all upset and preachy with me, telling me it wasn't fair to people who had signed up at an earlier date and then not been active because they would have a harder time getting the lions.
Like I told them, that's not really my fault. I signed up in '09 and wasn't really active until late 2010/early 2011. I worked hard for my lions or was lucky enough to be gifted some by very awesome people. So What I choose to do with them is my business. If I want to hoard it, trade it, gift it, give it to the pound, or just straight up delete it then that is my business.
Heck, the lions are even in a locked group, so it's not like I have them sitting there letting people offer on them when I know I'm not going to accept. Of course he didn't raise up in arms about the non rare lions I hoard. e_e'
Either way, I can't stand people with that sort of attitude. Feel how you want to feel about hoards, but don't harass people who have hoards. And what did he think? Insulting me and offending me was going to make me want to trade the lion to him?
