I disagree, sans has a lot more depth as a character then Toby let on. Sans, Papyrus and Flowey/Asriel are all connected, with their weird abilities. Game Theory goes into more depth, but I think sans is a great character.

This is my first time playing the game and I fought Undyne, and she said that I killed doggo. I encountered doggo a lot and didn't kill him. Maybe once? Idk. But will that ruin the Pacifist run?
