A lot of people think that they only use Pit bulls to fight ..... But they don't. They use a lot of dogs to fight like Rottweilers,
Akita, English Mastiff, Alano Español, Boston Terrier, Dogue de Bordeaux, German shepherd, and a lot more.

Some facts:
1. most of the time to warm up the dog to fight they put it in the ring with another dog that can't fight back and they call these dogs " bait dogs ".
2. There are 20,000 dogs put down in one week for dog fighting.
3. About 400,000 dogs are killed each year from dog fighting.
4. Pit Bulls are commonly used as therapy dogs.
5. "Rich or poor, American parents used to know exactly what pit bulls were famous for. Being great with kids." (help from ~{FireWarrior}~)

Favorite dog: Erm... German Shepherds and Shiba Inus are my absolute favorite dogs but I love all breeds (though those hairless ones kinda creep me out a bit...)

Any thing you like to say?: I love this group and wish there were more like this around. I work at the R.S.P.C.A and the vet's as well as work with a dog trainer and Everyone I work with are over animal abuse and Dog fighting.. I am sick of watching shows or working at the R.S.P.C.A and Pit bulls come in and barely get a glance at.. first thing they say "Oh, it's been fighting so it will have to be euthenized" I am sick of hearing that sentence. I am hoping in the future it doesn't happen ever!
