eckvanet.- Yep! The picture is fixed! I'll probably take some pics of my furb in the woods tomorrow. And at Anthrocon during the 4th of July weekend. I'm so excited because there's going to be a furby-exclusive panel! I can't wait to meet other furbs,, and I've never been able to have a friend for Barry :< That, and they will have a furby prize raffle so im hoping to win hehe-

And answering your question from your joining form, I believe hypersomn.ia told me that she has found a furby in goodwill. I've never checked since the local thrift store around my home only has clothing, but maybe someday I'll drive out to one and wish myself luck.

I have found three total furbys in goodwill, each a different year, but that was a long long time ago. every time i'm in a goodwill i'll ask when's the last time they saw a furby, and they usually say a month or two ago. my two lovelies i found in a sort of thrift shop, but this woman had a ton of 90s vintage stuff, and she had like 10 furbys. but yeah, with goodwill they always tell me they show up once in a while, but they go so fast. i think it's worth a shot, with the price you can get them at. (i'm near maryland too)

And that's good news! I'm hopeful! I've always had bad luck with things I'm looking for being sold out or taken just before I come in, but maybe I'll get lucky! And YO I wish I had someone like that around me. No one around me seems to have any Furbs, and if hey did, it's long gone in the trash ;;

i have a friend who has one from her childhood, though it doesn't work too well anymore, like. it won't go to sleep. that one's a pink baby. then my mom has a raccoon furby somewhere in storage that i want, but can't find. there's. so much stuff in storage. i don't personally know any active collectors either, though. but the community is scattered, and most active on tumblr.

Scattered yet United, we stand in our desire to save all Furbies and give them good homes!
I actually got two of my Furbies from friends, one is a Furby Boom that they'd left in their basement without batteries, so he's fully functional, and the other is an older kid with both original tags, missing eyelashes, and corroded battery pack. I cleaned him up a LOT and finally got the smell out but he doesn't work.

that doesn't surprise me, they're pretty rare. but it is always worth a look! and always ask about them i you can!

Oh, I love these little things so much. I don't have a picture to fill out the form with right now, but in mine and my brother's house there is a line of Furbies on the mantle over the bricked up fireplace.

At Goodwill not long ago he and I found for real a Royal Furb! I bought us that sucker for like $3
