I don't have any Frits but I love the paws!
I've got the girl that makes me wanna live
And she's got the hear that makes me wanna give more
Now I've got amore amore amore, I've got amore amore amore
She gives me amore amore amore, I've got amore amore amore
We've got the whole world together
We've got our whole lives to spend together
We've got all our time to press our lips together
We've got our whole world forever
Drawing pictures in the sky
Swearing we could fly
Knowing others would die
Just to be you and I

humans and cats still need some work XD

heres an example of my most recent cat drawing:
ImageJayfur101's Jack

crits/tips for future cat drawings?

Its a nice drawing, but if its a big cat, its snout should be shorter, and its chin more defined.
Its front paw that bending looks a little awkward too.
Here are some refrances for a cat's bending leg:
This,This,And this for Big cats.

I hope that helped.

I had pretty cheap price as well. I think it was...an average of 7000 FooGems or 7 FooDollars. Back then my art was crappy, but Foo never had high expectations, lolol. When I was banned, everybody hunted for my contact info and people are still ringing me up.

Most of my friends get my art for free, for really cheap, or for art trades. c:

Aaaaagh, just something about canines anatomy throws me off all the time. I'm pretty good at fur and all that stuff, but when I have to come up with an anatomically correct pose for a dog, my brain fries.

i charged 70fd to begin with, for traditional pieces (like the dog in my post - for Sparkoo, not sure if you know the member), and then when i started to offer tablet portraits, i charged 100fd for traditional and 70fd for tablet, since more went into traditional. even at those prices i was so overbooked for work, that i took down traditional portraits and went to a "tablet only" shop, charging 100fd. i just couldnt handle all the requests and the annoying "you charge too much! you should be charging 2fd or something" which i found insulting. now i have completely closed shop.

im the same way with friends and whatnot. i did a picture (traditional) of my friends son (http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos- ... 3779_n.jpg) for free, and will be doing a picture of another friends newborn when i get the time for it, i will probably do this one on my tablet, but im not sure... im still working on my people skills, but im getting pretty good now =) ^^ thats one of my better ones, there are a whole series of omg-thats-scary tries =P

use lots of referances. i usually use 4-8 refs for each pic.

i am best at wolves and birds.

that cat is not bad =)

for wolf references (my favorite animal - LOVE THEM), i just use my boy Tala =) he looks wolfy enough to serve as a good reference!

as for crit: i do realistic drawings, so the hair in the face kinda bugs me, but for someone that enjoys cartoonish ones, it looks nice. the muzzle is a bit too long for a cat, as well as being too wide. the lower jaw is not quite that thick. from side, the eyes do not look like that. here is a good reference for that, as well as the jaw structure and length of muzzle: http://www.pickchur.com/wp-content/uplo ... e-face.jpg

besides that, the leg that is lifted looks a little weird, but thats about all i can see. hope this was what you were looking for?

@Inari: I'll add a lil crit if that's okay? XD About the paws, besides the things everyone pointed out, on both felines and canines, their front paws are always sightly bigger than their back paws. C: That might be something to consider since in this picture, it seems like the back paws were slightly larger than the front? And also, if you want a bit more of realism, you can always add the dewclaw on both front legs. :3

This is a great tutorial I found for cats. C:

I thought that the perspective was a bit off, as well. I like the patterns and the anatomy is overall okay, but his head looks like it's on sideways. However, I thought that the fur and colors were really well defined.

Jace is not amused by your festive shenanigans.
He has no hands and I know the horns aren't quite right, but a critique on anything else would be nice ^^
