Autumni stretched in the morning light, nodding to her commander, before trotting to Eywa. "Morning, want some time away from you cubs and go on the morning patrol with me?" Her eyes lit up and the brown cat perked up and nodded. The two she-cats took off out of the camp at a gentle trot.

Coming up to the far bank of the nearest river, they stopped for a drink before moving on to where the forest starts. Coming to the pack's scent line they notice that the other pack hasn't refreshed their markers yet.

"Do you think they are doing okay?" Eywa asked, knowing this pack was usually pretty good about marking their side. The sunset colored second shrugged before flicking her ears to rustling.

A tortishell tom, along with a light brown she-cat, padded out of the undergrowth. “Stay put, and keep your mouth shut.” The Tom whispered. The She-cat nodded in response, and sat alertly. “Greetings, travelers. Why are you here?” The other cats were struggling for an answer.

Impatiently, The she-cat sat up, and glared at the travelers. “Why are you here, trasspassing on out territory? You know your not supposed to be here! Didn’t you smell the scent markers?” The tortishell, whom was later recognized as Robin, glared at the light brown cat, who is known as Deer. “Come on, Robin! You know just as well I do that these cats are guilty, I mean, look at them!”

Autumni glowered. "If I were you, you might want to get your nose checked. We are on our side of the markers. You would do well to realize your daftness." Her tail flicked back and forth as she eyed her companion making sure she didn't do anything rash. Now looking at the tortoiseshell male she dipped her head. "Excuse my bluntness to your companion. We where here to check our markers and noticed you hadn't been by in awhile so we were a tad worried something might have been going on in your pack. Forgive our intrusion."

Eywa sat down, trying to show the other cats that they weren't a threat. She had cubs to go home to and didn't want this getting out of hand either. "We don't mean to cause trouble or harm, just trying to be kind. Something this young one might want to learn in her future."

“Hey!” Deer yowled, before being shut up by Robin, who was glaring at her again. “I am sorry for the inconvenience, as we had just come to renew the scent markers.” He nodded to Deer, and she sat down. It seemed the two were close. “I am sorry, as well. I didn’t mean to start a fight, only protecting the borders.”

Deer came up to sit next to Robin, and the two shared a glance. “If you’d like, you can come to the hallow for some prey.” Robin offered. “As an apology.” Deer added. The two looked expectainly at Auttumni and Eywa.

The brown and gold tabby shook her head gently. "I'm sorry to decline. I have mouths to feed back at our camp." Looking to her second she added, "I will finish up with patrol if you would like?"

The other nodded and watched her partner leave with a slight bow. "All things considered, meeting with some of your others would be nice. Perhaps we could all work together in the future, or at least help." Getting up she nodded for the two to lead the way.

Robin and Deer got up, and escorted Autumni to there camp. At the entrance, they met a blue-brown spotted tabby. “Greeting Robin, Deer.” He nodded towards Autumni. “Who’s your friend?” Robin just nodded, and Autumni spoke her name to this strange cat. “Rain, if you will, could you lead a hunting patrol along the western half?” Rain agreed, and took his cats along for his patrol.

Robin led Autumni to his den, and they spoke outside. He introduced her to Violet, Rains cub, and they quickly got along. “Autumni, I know that you are not a commander, but would you send an offer to Paden for a friendship between our packs?” Yes or No?

With a nod of her head and a low purr, she smiled. "He would be delighted to have a friendship between our packs." She looked back as the small cub was chasing her moving tail, keeping entertained. "If you would pardon me, there are some things that I need to take care of back in my pack." Standing, she dipped her head is farewell and proceeded back home.
