Personally, I think that the stories are disinteresting, and they also have a tenancy to make my eyes cry rivers of blood.

That's not sad, that's pitiful. (The writer is for writing the story and thinking it's sad.

Is it just me, or is it rather obvious whoever wrote 'My Immortal' is American? For a start they use all American spellings, and make Draco say some things any right-minded Englishmen would never dare to. Their use of the word 'prep' is also in completely different context to how someone from the UK would use the word.

American 'prep': I don't really know.
English 'prep': Can be known as homework, pre-prep is like pre-school, prep is something to do with education I'm getting the feeling here.
