I just wanted to come by and ask if there was anyone who needs help with the Pokemon Violet part of their dex?
I'm not fully free the next few days but I should be able to go out and grab a few pokemon to trade if you need help :)
(can also do trade evos! just make sure you have the item needed, I MIGHT have the item but not 100% sure! Would love if someone could help me with a trade evo or two though.)

i usually timeskip for an outbreak, make a lvl 3 sandwich, and autobattle like 60 pokemon then look for it/repeatedly despawn and respawn them

Outbreaks are probably the best method (defeat 60-ish of the Pokemon, or somewhere between the second and third "there are less pokemon" pop up). If you really don't like making sandwiches and have access to the DLC, you can buy a meal from the Blueberry Cafeteria that gives you Shiny Power Lvl 1 for all types, that gives a bit of a boost (from 1 in 820 for having defeated enough in an outbreak with the charm to 1 in 680), otherwise there are now "no ingredient" sandwich recipes where you get the Lvl 3 power solely from condiments, throwing rice onto the floor (if your issue is building the sandwiches). With any sandwich method, you want to turn off autosave, then save before making the sandwich, so you can reset if you don't get anything in the 30 mins.

There's also an "Isolated Encounters" method, where for a number of Pokemon you can make a meal power with Shiny and Encounter Powers of the type you want, then refreshing spawns until a shiny shows up. PhillyBeatzU has decent videos showcasing what is available for each type and where is best to hunt them, but doesn't seem like he's made any videos for the Indigo Disc DLC just yet, but there are odd videos for stuff like where to isolate hunt some of the starters from other people.

Elsewise, it's randomly finding them, or "Masuda"'ing Eggs (usually a Ditto of a game language that yours isn't set to, and whatever Pokemon you want, odds are 1/512, but can be time consuming gathering eggs, hatching them and then releasing/getting rid of the non-shinies - though Home access does make this a little easier)

Does anyone else feel that the 2d Pokemon sprites were just so much better than the 3d Pokemon models, (especially g5 sprites) I miss them so badly they had so much more emotion and vibrant colours, I wish they would bring them back and make a 2d Pokemon game with some modern touches to it.
