Currently, the deputy, Lynxheart, is planning something to do with taking one of Aurorastar's lives and maybe killing a kit. I also might start a forbidden relationship between Maplepaw and the med cat apprentice, Splashpaw. So nothing much at the moment.

how do you write your clan posts? what is the tone of your writing? ex: is it serious? joyful? morbid? formal? informal? pessimistic?

It's a mix I guess. I think it's been more of informal and neutral but now that I'm working on fleshing out my clan, it should get better.

how do you feel about forbidden romances or rebellion in create a clan? do you think its overused or underused? do you have any detailed forbidden romances between two cats?

I love the concept and I think underused because, honestly, I don't see it much when i read posts. And not yet, like I said before, I might write one in soon.

do you have any special plans for your clan upcoming or in the near future? if so, would you like giving out a hint of what it is to be?

I actually want to add in my four cats, soon to be only two, but I gotta decide how I'm going to do it as three of them are the kittens of the fourth.

I love them a lot. The community is nice and is always ready to help out newcomers. The events are also nice because you can get cool stuff and practice writing for new characters sometimes. The concepts are unique to say the least. I don't often see something like it and definitely nothing this well built with everything.

i've mentioned it on discord quite a few times, so i guess everybody can know that sabra + another cat or two will be murdered by applemist, who was exiled from seaclan and winter gave her to me ;) i'll probably have a bad seed among halcyonclan as well, who tells applemist to do their dirty work.

pfft what writing ???? haha i haven't had much muse in my posts recently, but as the murders start to happen, i'll write more & the ton will be quite serious and morbid. of course, i have to balance that out with some kit/apprentice fluff, so that section will be joyful & informal.

rebellion is used often, but it's underused in my perspective as most, if not all rebellions i've seen are carefully planned & well executed. forbidden romances solely done just for kits are overused, but i would love to see more developed ones, like diamond + luxx, velvetflicker + gladestep, etc.

i love, love, love the concept, and will continue to. my perspective on events has changed as i'm helping hold them, but before i became a mod, i loved trying out for raffle cats and stretching my writing skills. now, i love creating my raffle cats and seeing what everyone comes up with for them c: the cac community is so amazing, and i've met many good friends through the game. i'm proud to have seen cac grow from when i stalked noticed it in version one.

Well, I just restarted so I’m trying to build up the Clan. However, once the ranks grow, kitties will be sent off to the bear >:3

For BearClan, I try to stick to what the warriors books did. Informative with a bit of the cat’s personality mixed in. (For example if there was a very bitter cat, it would be informative with some bitterness added in. )

I really want to have a few forbidden relationships in my Clan. In fact, I think I’m goin to start planning one. I think in the CAC community, it’s a bit underused but I hope some happens because I love reading about them!

Hmmm not really. Again, just starating out. And the bear is the main plot point so...

I absolutely love it. It’s such a smart and interesting concept and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. I actually want to thank everyone for being so welcoming and allowing us all to have so much fun. You all are so nice and I’m really looking forward to spending as much time as I can here! <3

I don't really talk in the CaC FanClub or Discord or anything so I think I'll try to start now

For right now in Lambstar's Era (or Era of the Lamb) there's a cat in our Clan named Rita/Raggedfang who cats will "gain honor" from her if they can kill her. A small group of cats are trying to kill her so they can return to their home with "honor". Fadedsong, our medicine cat, is trying to keep the cats from killing Raggedfang but..... Not only that, but Luckyfur and Onyxlight are fighting over a cat named Frostedrose and Lambstar's connection with StarClan is sorta wonky right now due to a cat that's there.

It's supposed to be anything but serious. I can't take anything seriously when I first start at it so my Clan isn't serious right now. Or at least too serious. My tone might also change depending on the character I'm using

I don't think forbidden romances are overused at all! I don't have any forbidden romances yet. I'm planning on having one once some of my drama cools down (in other words, after Luckyfur and Onyxlight's deal is resolved).

All my leaders of LambClan have an "Era". Right now, Lambstar's Era is in place and during her Era it's just to test out/show how flexible the Clan is and to maybe show how united LambClan is. After Lambstar's Era is over, I'll be moving onto a new leader's era and her era will be..... Something.

I love the concept and the events are lovely! The community is pretty nice, but I think I personally will have to take some time to get used to it.

Well basically I've got a villain trying to take over the clan, and he has a cat that follows his orders. There's been three murders so far.

I think I tend to write in an informal way, with sometimes joyful or other added on to it.

I'm not against the idea of forbidden romances, but I've found them a tiny bit overused sometimes. Myself I have tried once or twice but it never actually worked out.

Oh I'm going to have a lot of deaths coming up now. Just saying casually.

I absolutely love the CaC concept, and especially its community. Everyone on here is so helpful and friendly, at times when I wasn't active on CS anymore, this community is something I missed the most.

How long does it usually take you to write a post?
Bear in mind getting mod replies done and doing them periodically, plus being a student, it can take a while! People might have noticed the significant uptick in posts around Easter when I was at my parents' and so had far fewer responsibilities (I like my responsibilities) and was getting them out from 2 days to about a week apart. That was the maximum speed I could keep up and maintain there.
Lots of plotting means I have a pretty good idea what stuff to cover in each post, so I'm never just wondering what to post. But writing things so I do justice to them in my head is hard

Currently and without spoilers hello hazil I'd say kit murder and jealousy. And kit murder. Lots of kit murder.

I try to mentally compare my writing style to actual authors who are published to see if there are obvious ways to improve. My pickiness about paragraph formatting is due to going to France regularly, seeing how they format text, and using it myself; it's a lot easier to work out what's speech and such in French books (for me, at least), and they don't even close the quote marks.

I try to go with the scene for tone..?
Formal though.
And kit murder demands some pessimism.
Most importantly: I develop the ones I murder. Apparently that's what makes it heartbreaking. For me it's what makes people reading the death scenes fun? I just wanted to be realistic about a cat hoard living in the wild, and they do all have to die at some point, and if you don't want to develop the ones who die, no one will ever be developed.

Overused and overused. If more than a few cats do frs you have to accept they're no longer forbidden and call them something else. They're not forbidden if the leader's in one especially - the leader's word is the code, they just have to say it's not a thing anymore.
That said, they're common because they can be interesting and because they can help prevent inbreeding.
I am setting quite a few up behind the scenes but they're all deliberately scattered temporarily (eg two of mine for it are currently tiny kits) and between clans. I'd like to see more platonic type things between clans too though? If you just want an RP opportunity, make them friends. The "Friendzone" is not a bad thing - it means they love you enough platonically that they don't want any risk of losing you and that relationship. I'd love recognition of that (and if anyone wants interclan besties, PM me!)

Edit to add: Also, I'm fine with people's primary incentive of an fr being kits, as long as you actually go on from there to develop things? So Softdawn/Adoniscloud is (as Winter said) not as developed currently as we'd like but the plan is to have lots of interactions between their kits in the future and create an RP chain from that. Two FRs will eventually occur between Gustclan and one of my neighbours, but for both our clans that plays into plotline and the kits are a nice bonus. And obviously, doing it if it breaks a character doesn't make sense. For instance, I got Adoniscloud as a valentine's cat, of course he's prone to FRs compared to everyone else, but Bugleclaw is meant to be modeled a bit of a stereotypical early 20th century guy - him having an FR would make no sense at all. If you use it for legitimate development and don't break a character doing it, you're good.
Also, for rebellions, your rebel definitely needs a reason. It doesn't make sense to me to have cats who are incredibly supportive of a certain moral view and see themselves as righteous murdering cats all the time. You need to have a clear motivation for your rebellion. Rebellions don't start because some historical figure decides to be violent, they start because there are underlying societal issues that someone wants to correct - and often will go far too far correcting (*Quietly points at the USSR*). If you can get a clear and reasonable explanation for your rebellion, again, you're good.

Second part: *casually points at Boulder and Harrier*
I am happy to add more to that (romantically or platonically!). If you've got an fr with me of course I want it to get fully developed and expanded if you're up for that, especially if clans are neighbours. I know I made that an explicit thing for one of the soon ones? I'm never going to be opposed to writing side bits or integrating frs into plot points and such (if it works), nor to writing things outside the main posts.

Let's put it like this: I made a google sheet with timings of when i post and so on in.
The plot that I had all formed before I posted my starter post - including a few future names, like Teasel-leaf and such - is projected, at my average posting rate, to be finished in about 2 years' time.
I have been foreshadowing stuff after that already.

Death. If you want more, go sleuth it. I... try to reward sleuthing with minor hints at things if you can prove you've done stuff and clearly been thinking. Can't promise helpful hints, but I can promise they'll make sense later.

I know I've sort of encouraged a few things to some degree at least (I mean pride cats) and I did a tiny bit of that before being a mod too, and I really like that Kat considered my uh... Overlong rambles for stuff XD

Edited to add: But seriously, you guys are great, and I'm super glad I joined as I've made a lot of friends in CaC. I... have to confess I do the same thing as Scarlet and just find myself refreshing my posts for new things regularly, but I tend to use the excuse of "oh I wonder if there's more clan posts to sort names from" a lot, too.

currently, it’s revebge. because sloefur decided to stay salty, she convinced the more influential cats to consider a war with swiftclan. we are rolling for the winner, so it should be interesting.

i think it depends on the cat. i like adding tone, but it can also be confusing if interpreted wrong.

ohhhhh boy. forbidden romance is terrible in cac. im okay with some of it, but most people only do it for special kits or certain looks. unless either of them are for plot, i don’t like them.
