I remember this series made--no, MAKES me think seriously about history and war. I can't read a history textbook without crying now, it breaks my heart to read about the horrible things that have happened throughout human-time.

People think Hetalia makes people mock history.

It made me think.

@Feliks: I am not a fantard, but once, when we were bored, Kat and I wrote one for our personal and private enjoyment. Lulz ensued. XD

@Lucky Same here! Hetalia actually made me appreciate history (and the world) a little bit more. Probably because history can get a lot more dramatic when the countries are people.

Writing stories to mock fantards is so much fun. I should write a sexy self-insert story with me and Poland. Oh my god, yes.

@Lucky- Well, Gilbert and I did happen to make up a story by just talking, but it was simply out of boredom. We were also half alseep and mumbling random crap. Truely, I don't even remember most of it. XD

Sounds good. I guess I'll join the crew, though I might be one of the confused people throughout the project. I've never done anything like a MEP before. ^^;

History and Hetalia have made me think quite a bit as well. Hetalia actually changed my views on history, almost as if I'm there and experiencing what happened to everyone. Take the bombing of Pearl Harbor for example. Having America personified makes me feel like I'm actually there with him and standing right next to him and sharing the same horrors everyone had to witness. It might not make sense, but this is truely how I see it.

I'm too lazy to rang, and am still taking notes in Shakespeare, so I agree fully with what has been said above.
And I vote we get the song split into parts soon. I don't have a lot to do this week, hopefully...

@Feliks: Oh, definitely! I can't talk about WWII without tearing up now. XD Or Germany. Definitely. Or Poland. I'm glad Himaruya-sensei didn't go into what happened to Poland; I'd probably start weeping if it was something like Germany abusing/killing/beating/*insert any horribly heinous act here*-ing him.

I can't picture any of them as "evil". Just can't.

@Iggy: It makes sense; That is exactly what I thought too. I never realized how horrible war and violence were before; now, when I picture Pearl Harbor, I picture Japan ambushing America, and stabbing him in the back. (A little harsh, but, hey, an apt description.) I imagine America, writhing in pain on the ground, watching the naval base burst into flames, and Japan, standing above him with determination--and some slight shame--in his eyes.

"Why, Japan?" Alfred asks, shock coloring his voice. "I thought we were friends..."
Kiku tries his hardest not to look into the blond's blue, betrayed eyes. "I had to, America-san."
Don't look, don't look...!

But, alas, he looks. The sadness that leaks from Alfred's eyes streams down his cheeks, which are pale from loss of blood. He looks straight at his new foe, his former friend, the Judas of the nations; at least, in his eyes. The turquoise of his irises is tinged with melancholy and hatred.

Japan wishes he hadn't looked.

"I had to."

At that, Kiku walks away, slowly and deliberately. As soon as America notices, he manages to stagger up from his knees, pain stabbing him everywhere in frank response. He protectively clutches his side, hoping it will assuage the hurt. His chest knots up; his throat is lumped, his eyes are blurred, his people are dying. Yet, he manages to speak, in a loud, enraged voice.

"I hate you..."

Japan almost can't hear, but he stops at those words.
"...I hate you, you... you backstabbing b@$t@rd...!"
Japan turns around.

"...I HATE YOU!"

Alfred drops to his knees, the sobs that wrack his body causing tides of pain. "I hate you... I hate you...!" Soon, his cries patter off into intelligible mumbling.
Japan sees the nation at his peak of weakness, and, he wants to deny those words.

Yet, Kiku knows every word America said is true.

OH YEAH. INTENSE. XD

I dunno how to MEP either. XD

I-I mean, it should be fixed now.

I think you split up the clips, then people pick which one they want. Then, they upload it onto YouTube. Then, the host acquired their videos (probably through a YouTube video downloading site) and puts them all in order, publishing the whole thing as one video and crediting people. And put your username in the corner of your piece.

I remember at the convention I went to the amount of fantards there. I nearly tackled to the ground while a girl ran up to me and squeezed me deathly in what was supposed to be a hug screaming "ENGLAND!". I'm very afraid of going to another convention for that reason. And I'm afraid that there'll be more stalking Prussias. *Shiver*

Okay, stalker Prussia was scary. But I refuse to believe you hated your conversing with hetards. You loved and you know it. You hugged more than one person so you can't say that you are this 'self restrained gentleman' lord the world lies sometimes, and at the moment I am in just the mood to ruin everyone's day... sorry *smashes little gnat whom just barely made it up ovr the edge of a water glass* I am VERY pissed. Love the club everyone have a nice life, while mine is turned into a nightmare, where every person hates you and thinks you are the worst. FUNFUNFUN

@Lucky- You have now officially made me depressed. Well, not really, but close. Insert a depressing, bloody fanfiction into Pearl Harbor, and you get a sad Iggy. It's how the Circle of Life Feelings works. Now I have the urge to sing the Circle of Life song. Urgh...

Also, another heads up for the RP. I'm pretty sure now would be a good time to place dibs on characters that you want. I can post the list if your not sure if a character has been claimed already or not.
