@cham how the gender balance plays out is really up to you. and for your prey you can definitely switch prey out to better suit your territory if need-be, and the portion size for eggs is fine.

Ooh! Awesome! I have literally one thing left and that's just choosing the names of the main gods in the second language for them.

Also, wanted to check something else: is it okay to have a thing where very occasionally there are legit demi-god foxes, and it's just like, they're slightly lucky, basically. I'd have it so they have to be born to a fox who's got an individual who'd be willing to help raise the kit, so it wouldn't be some weird cheaty way to get extra kits. There'd be some reasoning like "the gods want to guarantee the kits will have a parent regardless" for that, but yeah, definitely require to have a mating pair already present to have demi-god foxes, and they'll be raised by the relevant mating pair.
And the gods would have to actually be real for that, but maybe they can only act for foxes who are already willing to believe in them. Again, I'm willing to play with reasonable excuses.

@cham umm, if it's not like these god foxes are impregnating every vixen every other post, and then demi-god foxes would be singular kits like the rest of their litter winds up still-born or dies from being to weak a little ways in. otherwise, i'll allow it as long as it's not like cheaty or anything, as you said.

Yeah, I mean it to be really rare. I mostly want to say it's a possibility that I might eventually do, I don't have any plans for it to be a common thing at all, or to happen anything resembling early, but it's a slim chance. It's the sort of thing that loners would claim to be true even when it's obviously not, and is just often enough that they're like "well they might be" even though, like 99% of the time, it's obviously nonsense. Like the Roman emperors all claiming they're descendants of Apollo and so on, with literally no evidence beyond "better not annoy the gods if they are!"... and less sacrificing living things.
I was sort of thinking that in a litter only ever one of them actually gets any benefit, but that would also work. I kind of prefer that actually... It'd make more sense as technically they are cross-species hybrids, and those don't tend to fare well for long in actual matings so a whole load of still-born kits would make a lot of sense.
