Veil. <3 He was adorable. His death was really sad, though, and I swear I had to pause after reading it just to let the information soak into my brain. ;c

If anything, what annoys me about Redwall is how the supposed "bad guys" always die...or at least are banished.
I would love if Jacques would give an evil character a past or something. Why was the Sable Quean so evil? How did she and Zwilt meet? I'd really love that...

Yeah. ;c Veil was a wonderful character. I loved how Jacques made him stay in character even in his last moments instead of getting all sentimental on... errrr... his adoptive mother (gah, forgot her name D8), though.

Well, I suppose that's partially the fault of the natures of the "good guys" he created, I think. xD Redwallers wouldn't keep a prisoner for whatever reason, and I'm pretty sure all Salamandastron residents would go "KILLLLLLLLLL" whenever they see a vermin. But I do agree.

I'd love it if Jacques gave any of his characters a past. True, there were maybe one or two characters that he assigned one to, but have you noticed that most of them are just... there? x3 It would be awesome if he got into depth with the main characters.

It think her name was Byron. It's so weird that I know tha though, I read that book SO long ago...

They already fought like an old, married couple...though with actual weapons...and it didn't end up so well

I just finished reading The Sable Quean...so it's kinda fresh in my mind right now...to annoy my friends I started talking in molespeech and they were so cunfused...X3

Ahaha, molespeech. I remember I was once in a Redwall guild on Neopets, where we all talked in some Redwall-esque accent. I chose molespeech. So fun, so fun. x3 I don't think I've ever spoken it out loud before, though; I think I'll go try that on my sister.

*looks at The Sable Quean* Basically, he said "Yeah, i'm used to killing people and I think that your plan to capture the babes to defeat Redwall is dumb, so I'm gonna kill you, take over your forces and attack Redwall. Bai!" and then he "kills" her.

Whenever I read a Redwall book, I feel like I should be talking like a hare or any abbeydweller afterwards x3
