How were you introduced to roleplaying?
I've been doing LARPing for a good portion of my elementary school life, although I didn't know it at the time. Then, it was known as "make-believe." c: When I saw the roleplay boards in 2011 (when I joined)...well I started making plans for my own roleplays as soon as I was going to be un-COPPA'd. I've gone through my fair share of roleplays, both ones I founded and those I joined, and honestly prefer writing because everything is so much simpler. However, some of my best ideas come from my roleplays. For example, Cherryclan has gone through many incarnations, from being a clan for all my feline characters (plus Lily the fox) to being an actual roleplay clan (still is) to being the first of the currently four Lake Tahoe Clans. I've done the research and concluded that fifty clans could easily fit within those connected forests. It's crazy and my friend and I almost died laughing at the possibilities.

Do you prefer fantasy or realistic roleplays? Explain why.
I don't care about the type. I love fantasy roleplays which include fandom-based ones because it allows for more possibilities and I have more characters for those, but realistic roleplays are also fun because it gives me limits. Either way, I usually end up playing at least one character that's meant to be me; and because I do this deliberately, I don't get upset if someone doesn't like the character. Oh well. I try to be nicer online anyways. c:

Howdy, everyone! So, recently, Aiae and I have been discussing something that we think may be a good idea to improve the activity of the club...
Contests!
You can win prizes and create characters, literature, and art!
So far, there are a few categories;

Popularity
This section is based off of the votes of your peers. You will create a themed character for the chance to win a prize! You will  create a reference sheet for them.
This will be divided into two halves- artistic and literate.

Literate
In this subdivision, you will create a reference sheet. Please make it neat and detailed.
Artistic
In this subdivision, you will be creating a drawing of your character.

Most Colorful
This section is about making a colorful character. This character should be designed and colored unnaturally, but fittingly! That means that the pallate should be varied, but also harmonized. You will be drawing this character.

Most Creative
In this section, we wish to see the most unique characters! You will create a reference sheet of a creative character. This is to be written out- we want to see no pictures involved!

These are just some samples from the rules and guidelines.. Just an interest census! Please let me know somehow if you are interested in this! I just took fooooorrrreeeveeeerrrr typing everything out lol.

@merchantinq: I'd be very interested in it! However, I have several questions. One: do you have ideas for prizes? Two: will you be allowed to enter in more than one section? Three: what do you mean by a "creative character" for the Most Creative section? Do you mean a cool-looking character? Do you mean an original (not closed) species character?

@Everyone Sorry I've been inactive lately, tons of things piled on my schedule out of no where (okay, not entirely true I knew they were coming after all my procrastination) but I should be free(er/ish) after this a bit more active! And like my wonderful moderator (servant lol jk) announced, we are working on little competitions for fun! If you win I will give you pets or maybe items. Have fun! <3

@Simonpet Like mentioned above I will be giving out pets or items. More likely to be pets since I don't know the value of items and don't want to be unfair. Yes, you can enter in as many sections as you want to, but only once per section unless told otherwise. Also by creative we mean something completely original! There's no design guidelines on it so just be you!

@Simonpet Sure! Any character that is pleasing to you, appropriate for the website, and that you feel is creative and orignal is welcome as an entry to the Most Creative Competition!
