but,, it's so ugly!
radioactive, some weird orange color and what looks to be either black, a really dark blue or indigo dont go together at all

I think I'm going to save up a stack of each chest (Rust, Iron, Gilded) and then mass open them.
I've never been good at saving things up though, so wish me luck xD <3

Vault stash them immediately as you get them.
Keeping them out of sight helps a lot.
I started stashing at the start of the year for my 6 month collection, and as soon as I bond with all my familiars I instantly vault all the chests.
From January 1st to now I've gotten 18 Rusted (I was already bonding with familiars in my hoard before the new year so not a lot were still in the rusted chest stages by the time the new year rolled around), 98 Iron, and 56 Gilded.
It's fun to do a long save with chests.
I'm doing it with all openables, so that when June 30th rolls around I'll have SO MUCH to open.

kind of
when I can be bothered i will sit and grind a venue, i'm going from lowest -> highest. after I've got most of them from one venue I usually give up on that venue (especially if i'm getting many multiples of ones I already have) and I plan to just buy the missing few ^^

GASP I got an ice egg. I'm so tempted to open it, but scared to get a dragoon i wont like, and I could do better with the money :c

I thought about doing a full year, but since June 30th is my birthday a 6 month run seemed like a good idea to have a mass opening as a little treat to myself. I've also got a plague egg sitting in my vault waiting for that day too. Aside from a hiccup in my no buying dragons rule (CheesusChrist had to happen), I'm saving all my treasure and Gems until then as well.
With how much I'll get from the mass opening, on top of what I'm saving, I'll be able to easily afford a full page lair expansion. Hopefully I'll even be able to afford to fully gene the birthday bab too, even scatterscroll it a few times if it's not a desirable hatch lol.

I feel your pain friend.
I was so close, mostly just missing boss familiars, and then they had to go add two new venues so close together lol.
Now I'm so far behind it's not even funny.
