Higher the level the area, the greater the chance at getting chests.

I played in the water one (for level 25s) for an hour and got 4 xD

Higher the area, higher drop rate but factor in the time it takes to win each battle, it will take longer to get chest.
Personally, I find the Sandsswept Delta to be good.
There is a nice drop rate, and while your farming for chest/NoN Materials, you can get the Toxin/Poison from the enemies to make the genes/sell them for side profit c:

Looking to buy 3 Eliminates with CS pets.
I've got rare+ from '09 to now, some store pets, some rares lists.
Heck, I'll even overpay with the rares lists pets, 1 advent list bunny per Eliminate or a Grinner for two.
(the bunny route is about 100 Gems more in value than the LAH Eliminate and the grinner route is 70ish Gems more in value)
Store Pets/Rare+ will be traded at actual value, may go over slightly just if things don't round out evenly.

I've also still got my three breakfast snappers that were hatched on Christmas Day and two Bogs hatched Christmas Day for sale.
If they aren't sold by the time they grow they will be exalted as I am planning a breeding schedule for 2017 for my lair and all past hatchlings will need to get out one way or another. All five are listed in the AH, willing to go lower via CR for CS users.

Edit: I have to run a patrol at work, so I won't be able to respond as quickly as I normally would when I put up sales posts. So just send a PM/suggestion if you want an answer when I get back.

I'm sure this has been asked multiple times, but where is the best place for you to farm for chests? I finally have access to a computer to play and for an hour I have gotten 4 chests. Now, I am not complaining because I am happy I am even getting any, but where are your lucky spots?

I've found that if I keep switching places my luck is better. My strategy is to farm in whatever area I need Swipp's materials from when he or his children are offering Strange Chests. It's working for me!

yesssss my sky/ice/white babies hatched!!! Im so excited about them. Ive been searching for a mate for tarmos for FOREVER. stupid poison/toxin e.e makes for some really weird colors.

Okay so I got my turns again and

I used my last turn and got a normal chest AND NoN chest

opened the NoN chest and got a breed change
