I have been looking at FR and kinda want to sign up. What is the best way to get started? I dont know too much about the game...

Everyone plays a bit differently when they start, bu here are some essential tips.

Breed your progens ASAP, so you can sell/exalt the babies when they hatch.
DO NOT exalt your progens. Many players regret doing this.
You have to gather food for your dragons. You can do this by going to the gathering Items page. Every breed eats different types of food. You can find more information on each dragon breed here.
You can earn treasure in many different ways. Such as playing games at the Fairgrounds, battling others in the Coliseum, and going to the Trading post.

Ice is a great flight. Their eyes go with everything

Ice would be my second choice if I were ever going to change flights. I'm in light though and I absolutely love it! Of course it's whatever speaks to you - ice would be a great flight too for sure.

Light usually pushes dom. I recommend, even if I am in lightning

Anyone who's wanting to join FR, if you want to win DOM often I recommend Ice, Light, or Plague.
Light's been getting in the top three for DOM for quite some time now, Plague's usually coming close with us Acolights.
Ice does a good job keeping up with the two as well.

The worst flights if you want to win DOM is actually the two biggest flights ironically: Arcane and Shadow, they don't get DOM too often, in my experience.
This doesn't mean their terrible flights though!! Although I don't have alot of experience with them being an Acolight, I'm sure everyone is fairly friendly down in their forums!
