@kyayura: I love the art! It's really cute.
I got a new horse character yesturday named Elara!
I am about to write a mini-novel below answering the questions. Enjoy!
Where do your characters live? (world/special houses/habitat etc)
In order to answer this question, we need some backstory. Right now, I'm writing a book set in the early Renaissance. During this time, magical creatures are on the decline due to domestication, over-hunting, and human encroachment upon their territories. The effect of this is that sometime after the book ends, all the magical creatures decide to escape to a parallel universe. Thus, these creatures soon fade to legend and history follows the same path as real-world history. None of the following is stated in the book, but I do have stories set in this universe.
Now, in this parallel universe, a parallel Earth and solar system, it takes several centuries for the first communities to form because the animals still have a predator/prey mindset. In addition, this world has so much magic in it that it allows sapient beings to become humans and anthros, in addition to being just animals. Most of my stories set in this world take place hundreds or possibly thousands of years later (even I don't know). By now, the world is divided into the sub-intelligent species, those who haven't become sapient, and the intelligent species, which are mostly made up of the descendents of the refugees. However, there are some native sapient species. The intelligent species are divided into the "wilds", who refuse to have any contact with civilization, the "ferals", who go back and forth from the wild to civilization, and the "civs", who make up the population of most towns and cities. The animals have begun to colonize the solar system and have many different governments, both divided by continents and worlds. Much of Eurasia would be recognizable in terms of the countries whereas the Americas and Australia are known by different names that I haven't decided on yet. They have also discovered a third universe known as the "third plane" that they are exploring. They are behind their human-counterparts in terms of development because of how long it took them to develop basic multicultural societies while the humans had already had societies set up for thousands of years. However, no one has been known to die from old age, although plenty die from sickness and war.
Which of your characters is the younger? And the older?
The oldest character of mine is Cloudy the pegasus, because he was my very first to be created. He started out as my imaginary friend (the first of many) but is now a character who I love to write about and draw. The youngest characters are my twin RPWs that I have not yet recieved, but their breeding will be done sometime soon.
do you have a character site? if so, show us!
I have several, actually! I keep a character site for each of my species that I have a ton of, excluding those that are hybrids and dilutes such as my Petal Wolf hybrids. I have three sites: my Rainbow Paint Wolf, Forest Antlered Equine, and Docksen. I am currently working on my RPW site, but here are my finished ones. My FAEs and my Docksen. I apologize for the horrible colors on the Docksen site.
