the conventions in minneapolis, apparently the first proper one it's had in 20+ years. i'm going as fitz kreiner {crossplay yeah!} and my sister's going as fem!ten. i'm completely fairly broke at the moment so i really don't want to have to spend more than 50$ for both of us. luckily, i've already got a leather jacket and a trench coat. ah, the wonders of goodwill. speaking of, do you know of any other places to get cheap stuff?
Mostly I used subsitutions. If the jacket is the right style, but not the exact color, I'd use it anyway and just bring the attention to another accesory. I like to go to thrift shops and do some research, mostly shop online. I'll do some research for you and find you some nice deals within your budget. Might take a while, though!
