- I'm pretty sure his glasses and his beard were just to show time passed for him - so there might not be any more meaning to them than that (although I think it is cute that Shiro might keep Adam's glasses with him to remember him by). It wouldn't make sense if he looked the same as he always had while everyone else looked different (although I think they could have designed him better. that beard tho.... -.-)
As for the difference in Shiro's appearance in the pictures and in his wedding... I'm pretty sure that's because the epilogue scenes were rushed, so it was unlikely that anyone really went back through them to make sure everything made sense in continuity.
