The castle of lions being destroyed was horrible ;u;. My feels died with that ship, like honestly it's been their home. Their safe haven for so long and to see it crushed into nothing but a little diamond was heart breaking.

So i finished watching season six by accident but let me just say it's even more heartbreaking when you didn't mean to watch all of the episodes at once. I meant to just watch one or two episodes and to space it out (knowing a lot of things were supposed to go down) so anyway.
let me just say that the monsters and mana episode killed me. Has to be my favorite episode of s6.
Especially now that we know that clone shiro was playing monsters and mana. I just can't.

shiro killed me, just absolutely killed me.
I hadn't really put much thought into this whole shiro is different thing
so it was like a bomb just dropped on my head when it was revealed.

man i'm dying over here and the castle of lions part literally made me sob quietly since everyone was asleep.

spoilers ! Just voicing my opinions on this season ! this is by far my favourite season. it was amazing

okay let me just start off by saying I loved this season so, so much.
Hunk was amazing, I loved Lotor, and everyone was just great in general.

But since Shiro is my favourite character throughout the entire series, this is mostly gonna be about him lmao
In the first few episodes when Shiro started having those headaches and pains I WAS DEAD. LIKE HONESTLY
I was so hopeful he was a clone AND HE WAS !! I still liked Clone Shiro since he technically was a "replacement shiro", and he acted kind of like him but he was just meaner. He also stole Shiro's real body and I WAS SHOOK WHEN I FOUND THAT OUT.
ALSO WHEN SHIRO SAID HE WAS DEAD >.> I WAS ABOUT TO DIE

Lotor and Allura kissed and I legit screamed. I scared my dog lol
I really liked their little thing because it was sweet and Lotor seemed like a good guy. He thought he was doing what was best. The villain always thinks what they are doing is right, and they feel what they do will benefit others.

Lotor turning evil kind of disappointed me because I wanted to see more of him and Allura and watch their relationship grow. I really enjoyed watching them interact with each other and develop a strong bond over their heritage. It was really heart warming...

THEN WHEN SHIRO STARTED FIGHTING EVERYONE I WAS SO HYPED
that was honestly my favourite part idk why
then the scene with Keith and Shiro... "I love you" and "You're my brother" I WAS DEAD

Also Krolia is??? great??? I love her voice it's so soothing lol. I also really liked watching Keith's parents history together. It was clear they really loved each other and that makes me really happy.

Also when they get to go back to earth !! That'll be exciting c; I don't really like Shiro's grey hair, it makes him look really old. I hope they fix that in season 7. Felt bad for Coran when the Castle of Lions was destroyed, but it was for the best. Coran also got a lot of screen time and development ! I love Coran and I was very happy to see him get his recognition !

Alright that's enough from me for now c; Definitely loved season 7 !

But anyway, I wanted to give my thoughts on s6, spoilers below of course!
hooboy s6 was a ROLLERCOASTER of emotions and heartbreak

I can't believe Lance nearly died in just the first episode. whY WOULD THEY DO THAT TO MY BOY
At least that episode gave Hunk some good screentime. It's not enough, but better than nothing!

*unholy screeching* I LOVE THIS LINE. I LOVE LANCE. AAAAA

I'm so glad the DnD episode exists, it was the best episode in the season. I'll go as far as to say it might be one of the best episodes yet. The pixel graphics in some scenes were just so good, whoever animated those needs to go make a game because I would play the heck out of it. The music was awesome, reminded me of Pokémon. And Shiro through the whole thing was hilarious! Although, still, Pike was my favorite. I'm a biased Lance stan, can't lie :P

I want twenty of Keith's dog for my own. It's so cool, I love it. Does it have a name? As far as I can remember no name was ever mentioned for it in the show. I thought maybe the fandom might have temporarily dubbed it something until we find out its real name, like how they call Keith's dad Texas Kogane.
Speaking of Texas WE STILL DON'T KNOW HIS NAME. SPILL THE BEANS ALREADY, KROLIA.
And speaking of Krolia, WOW the flashbacks were emotional. I honestly don't like how they presented them, though. I would have liked some genuine mother-son bonding with Krolia actually SPEAKING to Keith and telling him all of that. I guess its more impactful to Keith to see it with his own eyes rather than be told and have to imagine it.
I honestly screamed when I saw Keith's dad in the vest Shiro wore in s1-2. Keith actually kept that, then gave it to Shiro. It just tore my heart out.

The whole Shiro thing honestly made me want to cry. The fight between the clone and Keith was beautifully animated and the voice acting was very well done, especially in the "You're my brother, I love you" line. THAT LINE ABSOLUTELY DESTROYED MY FEELINGS. JUST PICKED THEM UP AND TOSSED THEM IN A BLACK HOLE.
I agree with some other people in the fandom about how Lance should have been more closely connected to this arc. Real Shiro did reach out to Lance first back in s5, and Lance had been suspicious of him for a while (that look he gave Kuron after he apologized for yelling?). I guess I honestly don't mind as much as some other people do, though.
When Keith went Galra in the middle of the fight, THAT was awesome. He even has that galra mark now :D

I'm really happy that we now know there are other Alteans still alive! It was always so heartbreaking to think that Allura and Coran were the last ones.
And Coran actually got some good screentime! Like with Hunk, I don't think he got enough, but again, better than nothing!
I feel so sorry for him though, having to sacrifice the Castle of Lions. I thought I wouldn't get too emotional over the castle being destroyed, but then they started showing all the rooms and I was so ready to just bawl my eyes out. The bit where they show that couch in particular really got to me for some reason.
I've always had this headcanon that Pidge kept a few of the fluffy space trash caterpillars, but now that's apparently canon!

Aaaa the whole scene where Allura brought back the real Shiro was just the best. When Lance started crying I wanted to just smash down the fourth wall and give him a hug. And unlike in s5 where his crying was kind of turned into a joke and no one really bothered to comfort him, Allura actually showed some caring for him.
I just screamed at the "we're going home" line. SEASON 7 WHERE, I WANT TO SEE EARTH EPISODES
When they get back to earth they better buy shiro some heckin hair dye


More negative things:
This season gave us a lot of good story, I can't lie. But the actual execution of it sort of feels sloppy or rushed in some places?
Lotor's betrayal was probably going to happen at some point, but I didn't think it would be until about s8, when we've had enough time to really build up trust with him (even though some people still wouldn't trust him even if the show ended on him being good haha). It just seemed so sudden.
The random time skip they shoved in on Keith was pretty unnecessary. I hate it, honestly.
Lotor's generals switch sides so easily. It's ridiculous.
I'd say more but I don't want to stir up arguments :V


TL;DR
Overall, season 6: could have been better, but I'm happy with what's there. Pike is amazing.

I convinced myself I didn't need to but now I think I need to get my thoughts on the new season out there. I don't understand why everyone dislikes it I mean, the people who make it are working hard and I think it was a beautiful season. (Not trying to diss anyone or nothing like that) I almost ended up crying because it was so beautiful to me and I could relate to Lance and Keith more and more.

Spoilers below. People were just hating on the new season so I need to get my thoughts out.
So first things first, I don't think we could ever have too much Keith, only too little of other characters. (I am a biased Keith stan I'm sorry) Sure Keith had some episodes in this season about himself but I think the season was also Allura's development as well. I couldn't help but call her a stupid idiot for falling for Lotor so easily but I can't be too upset with her, I know if a charming boy came along I would probably fall all over him as well. That's why I've come to love Allura because of this new season, I can relate to her better. At first she was just a princess to me, something I'll never be, and now I see her more as a person with confidence issues. Which sounds like me actually.
I love Shiro's new hair, I will start an army called 'Pro-Shiro's new hair' it is a little strange, but I'll get used to it like I did with Kuron's hair. I just think it needs to be whiter, its too dark so it looks gray. Ol' man Shiro lol.

The DnD or MnM episode was ABSOLUTELY stunning! I was laughing the entire time! Poor Shiro!
Lance got development as well, it was beautiful. I know how it feels to be crushing on someone but know they probably won't feel the same, and I know how it feels to be a third wheel...too well.......eugh.

Keith's and Shiro's fight scene almost had me crying, they're such beautiful characters and I really didn't want to see them fight like that...I kept thinking 'Shiro's gonna kill him!' I actually thought Keith was gonna die. The scene was beautiful and I almost fell apart when Keith said 'You're my brother! I love you!', it touched my heart and I could relate to it deeply.

I'll have to admit, people will probably hate me when they find out I was happy with Lotor's betrayal. I couldn't wait for it to happen, I mean, we all knew it was going to. I honestly didn't like Lotor x Allura and the kissing scenes almost killed me, I'm more of a Shallura (I know, that ain't happening ) or Lance x Allura type of person. (People will tottally hate me after this, but I don't care!!!! )

Anyways my point is, this new season was beautiful, and I love everything about it! everything....even Shiro's grandpa hair. Seriously though, that needs a touch-up.

SEASON SIX SPOILERS

okay. i just finished the season and im... wow. they blew it away this season. incredible character development for keith, allura and hunk. pidge didn’t have much screen time but every time she was on screen she was BOMB and i love her.

shiro and keith’s fight scene was so well done. i was so emotional the entire time and my friends and i were screaming while watching it,,, they don’t even watch the show lmao. it was that good. keith’s line “you’re my brother, i love you” DESTROYED ME also destroyed sheith shippers sorry lads

lance and allura feels really forced right now. maybe that’s a biased klance shipper view, but i do genuinely think that if they do get together it won’t last. something will ultimately tear them apart, or allura won’t even return feelings. i just find it weird that all thorough season 5 and maybe even 4 that lance showed little to no affection towards allura and suddenly in season 6 he’s jealous of her relationship with lotor, or maybe I’m delusional lol. i would take allurance over allura and lotor ANY DAY. as long as allura is safe and in a healthy relationship... but i also want what’s best for lance, and him being a rebound for allura is gross.

shiro’s hair is a LOOK and the blue and red stars in that one episode,,, i see u animators ur not sneaky!

Yeah that was really sad. The only ship 'dying' that I actually cared about. Coran spent so much time getting the Castle up and running again only to have to destroy it. T-T

On the subject of ships, I really don't understand why people would leave the fandom by one 'dying'. How can it be 'dead' if it was never canon?? Then again I am very neutral on ships, I watch the show purely because it's a war with space lions and that's fabulous. Sure I am a 'multishipper' but I don't attack people over the made up relationships of fictional characters.

I have a headcannon that Keith's name is Keith because his mother was coming up with loads of long, fancy Galran names and his dad was just like '????' and then was like 'I don't even know how you say that.'
So in retaliation he came up with the most simple, boring name possible and named him that.
Keith it is.
(His mum is still pissy because of it lol.)

Season 6 made me cry
