Spoilers focusing on Lance this season ;w;

So I've seen a lot of people are angry and disappointed with Lance this season (specifically with the Allura situation).. which I guess I can understand but honestly I just feel flat out sad for Lance. Lance loves Allura very much as she is strong, gorgeous and has a wonderful personality. He definitely admires Allura and wants to be with her more than anything but it's quite clear Allura doesn't share the same feelings. It's really hard to give up on someone you love, I know from personally experience with things such as friendships. I don't blame Lance for how he is acting, as someone who is pretty clingy myself I completely understand. It's hard to accept that others don't feel the same way and let go. I really feel like Lance accepting that not everything works out is going to be a big part of his arc. It's going to be tough for him but I am sure he will learn just to cherish their friendship and stop hoping for something that will never be.

After all there is always other fish in the sea.

My Lotura shipping brother is in denial. Also I didn't really think this meme I made is spoilers because I think we all knew in our hearts Lotura was bound to die.

Im actually sorta disappointed with this season. spoilers below,,

This is all going to be wild but im just gonna say it

1: Shiros hair is even worse now but its ok because i love him.
2: wish "evil" shiro or kuro or kuron ( clone shiro ) whatever you want to call him was more of a threat? all he did was beat up Keith then get knocked out??

3: im sure plenty of people will get mad at me but please no more Keith arcs theres way too many, if this was skyrim hes basically the Dovahkiin at this point. Half Galra, Black paladin, Leader, Met his mother ( im not mad at this one but still an arc ) while fighting he got to use his cool galra half, only one that gets to join the blade ( i know the reason just stating this one ) Basically hes everything and this season didnt help.

Edit;; Also i do remember the season where there was basically no Keith screen time. I just think they're no doing very well at balancing out arcs?

4: Not a fan of allura x Lance but I have no right to trash it,, I like how Lance feels for her, makes him more genuine.
5: im glad lane cried over shiro, one of the good things,, shows Lances actual character thanks for that one second this entire season.


I love Voltron but i just didnt like how they set this season up what so ever.

How do I make spoilers transparent?
I convinced myself I didn't need to but now I think I need to get my thoughts on the new season out there. I don't understand why everyone dislikes it I mean, the people who make it are working hard and I think it was a beautiful season. (Not trying to diss anyone or nothing like that) I almost ended up crying because it was so beautiful to me and I could relate to Lance and Keith more and more.

So I have a lot I could say about this new season, but after half an hour or so I thought about something.

Keith looked at his screen told Coran something was headed to the ship. Said object is never mentioned again. We then see the clip of Shiro in the ship.

Are....... Are you telling me that......

Honestly I don't get why people seem to dislike the new season. I loved it.

There's just gonna be random Shiro clones floating around space now lol.
Lotor and Allura was sad, I loved the relationship they had and I do genuinely believe Lotor was trying to help the universe but hey, it's cool. I do also believe Lotor was affected by the quintessence which possibly drove him a bit mad.

Lance and Allura are pretty cute to be honest, they're supporting each other a lot more now and romantic or not, they've got an interesting relationship.

Keith and Krolia have me screaming. I love them. Also Keith has a dog!!! That's so awesome!

Honestly the new season was just epic.

Honestly? I'm a bit angry that Lotor turned out to be as messed up as he is... but at the same time I can see why. He's been alive for 10,000 years which shouldn't be possible to begin with... unless he was affected by the quintessence in the same way his parents were. I won't lie when I say I wanted a zuko-like redemption ark for him. There were a ton of routes his character could have gone through. It just seems kind of cliche that he went down the whole "goes insane" one. I also think its really interesting how much he idolized King Alfor... at least up until Allura basically told him to f-off and rejected him.

I didn't see a problem with anything else! More Alteans existing gives me an excuse to make a bazillion Altean OCs with no repercussions now LOL

Side note: Sleeveless Coran is an absolute blessing and he's even more adorable now

I agree with you there. Lotor going seemingly insane was quite sad and there was a lot of other ways it could have gone. Allura definitely struck a nerve when she said he was just like his father.

Ah Coran was great in this season. I love him like always. It was sad to see the Castle of Lions go. Honestly I feel so bad for Coran because of that. ;-;

Spoilers // some thoughts on the reactions from people



So firstly I wanted to say that I loved this season! A lot of characters got more backstory (keith, shiro, coran, hunk...), the animation was amazing and we got to see some LOTR parallels in the Monsters and Mana episode!

I'm also really enjoying how a lot of Klance shippers are leaving the fandom as it's quite obvious that ship isn't going to happen- and I'm not sad to see them go. If one pairing is the only reason you watch a show, and that pairing isn't canon, I can expect why you'd leave.

I also wanted to argue that I don't think Lance is Allura's "rebound"; it's quite obvious he's got feelings for her, but he acted very mature and I am very proud of his character development. He and Allura have a wonderful relationship right now based on mutual support, and if that's all it's going to be, it's fine.

I also can't wait for this to become a huge meme

I legitimately cried when the Castle of Lions went... that's been Coran and Allura's home their whole lives (assuming Coran lived in the castle as a child due to his grandfather). It's become home to the Paladins as well. Seeing the castle ship you call home be sent into a rift and blow up, even if its to save the universe, would have been really emotional.

Also @ vetra I'm a shameless multishipper in every fandom I've joined so idk why people would leave bc a ship isn't canon? Just... ack.
