Yesterday and today haven't been so bad.

Yesterday I hatched a 2k egg that was a Bulbasaur, and now I'm only 4 candies away from having my Venusaur. Today I went to a local park that was an Exeggcute nest and I finally got enough candies to get my first Exeggcutor. Next week I'm visiting a Rhyhorn nest to hopefully get my first Rhydon, and I'm only one female Nidoran catch away from having my first Nidoqueen. Also, today I hatched a 10k egg and it was a Snorlax. :3

Other than that I'm hoping that this event will help me get my first Raichu, I'm getting pretty close.

I'm at 119 dex entries right now. My biome isn't very diverse so I practically never see Pokemon like Ekans, Doduo, Diglett, Sandshrew, etc.

im so happy. I finally have enough candies to evolve my growlithe. But I'm wondering, should I go ahead and evolve, or keep waiting to get more candies so I can power up and use it to the best of its abilities?

Generally it's best to evolve before powering up, since you can't (afaik) predict the move it will have. And I mean, if you end up with like bulldoze or something, it's not really worth powering up imo, but if you get fire blast then go for it.

Man, I wish I lived in a bigger city and in america or something. Living in a tiny country and in a tiny city means thst no one actually record where any nests are. So the only ones I know of, are the ones I've personally encountered. Could reaaally use a bulba/charmander nest tbh.

thank you! When I appraised it, it said it's best quality was its attack, so I'm assuming it's pretty good. My team leader also said everything else was great too so I think it's the one I'm going to evolve.

Also one more question- should I evolve one with flame thrower or flame wheel?

Oh I don't know if the appraisal actually has anything to do with the attacks themselves, I think it just talks about their IVs. And the attacks change after evolving, so you'll end up with something else either way.

I'd suggest googling a pokemon go IV calculator and checking how good a pokemon is, or even comparing if you get another growlithe. It wouldn't predict the attack you'll get, but you'd see which of them has better stats overall.
