I guess the gym I put mine in is rather remote or something. It’s been there for well over a week, and I need the pokecoins

The only way to get a Pokemon back from a gym is if it's defeated by another player from one of the other teams.

With everything going on right now, people are generally staying at or close to home as much as possible, which unfortunately means more remote gyms may not be visited often, if at all. You could check on Facebook or wherever to see if there's a local PoGo group in the area and ask if someone would be willing to go find the gym and kick you out.

Most of it can be done within an hour at home with an incense (and they did have 3 incense for 1 pokecoin in the store) you will need to hatch an egg (they are half distance) and earn a candy with a buddy if you want to make sure those are ready

New Pokemon Debut!
Unova’s legendary elite—Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem—are coming to five-star raids!
Reshiram will be available first; from May 26th until June 16th

Personally I'm not a huge fan of the Community Day candidates for June/July, but I'm gonna guess they're saving something better for when people can actually participate in them properly.

This is taking place on June 1st - from around 11:00am to 6:00pm PDT (GMT −7)

Oh I didn't know this existed. Hello!

I'm super excited for August's Magikarp community day on the 8th! I want to catch a shiny... cause why not. But mainly it's because I need to evolve my Magikarp into a Gyarados for that research and I only have 132/400 candies.

I caught 8ish shiny Gastlies last community day... so fingers crossed!

Dont forget to use pine apps and get as much candy as you can.. mega evolutions are coming so who knows what they will require

I'm excited for finally maybe getting shiny magikarps! Even during the water events, I've never found a shiny.. 601 caught and 5 gyarados.. hoping maybe for a 4 star to mega evolve when the time comes
