So, I did my placements for comp deathwatch, and I placed in gold (this was all yesterday)

How did I manage to do that when I lost five and won five games? Is it because it's new and a lot of people aren't playing it?

Were you expecting better or worse than gold? What's your rank normally?
Placements don't depend on wins and losses, they depend on your performance. I've had amazing winrates or horrible losses in ordinary comp placements that change nothing- I placed almost the same SR the season when I went 8-2 as I did the season when I went 3-7, because even though I wasn't winning and losing at the same rate, I was still playing at around the same skill level.

I’ve recently got back into overwatch after not playing it for a few months and I’m starting to use Widowmaker a lot more. I’m really happy with my performance in a lot of my games and I’m getting so many awesome clips, I might start posting them on YouTube just because I’m proud of some of them :’)
